I really appreciate this hotel and Daniel and Burak. They have made us feel well and shared a good deal of welcome and information. They cook really well. The hotel is good, has a nice garden, great view and a swimming pool. All is great and a perfect place! Thank you

This treasure of a hotel is a surprising oasis in the middle of the capitol ity (technically it is in the outskirts of San Jose in Alajuela--but it's super convenient to the airport which is why my partner and I chose to stay there initially. It's also near to an Auto Mercardo grocery store as well as a lab/clinic where you can get those dreaded, required CoVid tests affordably and quickly.) The minute you enter the gates you are surrounded by beautiful gardens and feel you've entered another world. The proprietors know exactly what most travelers need: a shared kitchen and fridge should you want to keep or prepare some of your own food, a pool, rocking chairs, hammocks and plenty of outdoor patio space scattered at every turn... and they just installed a colorful viewing deck backdropped by the mountains and Volcan Poas for guests to enjoy the exquisite sunsets every night! Expect to be briefly greeted by the enthusiastic, sweet Sula the dog, and if you're lucky, you may catch glimpses of cats Luna/"Mariah Carey" or Carlos roaming the grounds. :) Daniel and Barak who administer everything couldn't be friendlier or more-helpful, and the delicious breakfasts were both photo-worthy and surprisingly varied every morning. I extended my first stay there for a few days, and again for several more days when I returned--which says a lot since I always planned on spending the least amount of time in the area as possible. The dry climate that heats up nicely during the day, and cools off at night is also very refreshing. The only problem you'll have is leaving this wonderful place! See you again next time, all, and thanks again!

We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful and friendly B&B! The B&B is in a beautiful setting, has a well-kept garden, a nice pool and is overlooking the green hills. The view from our terrace was stunning! What made the stay even better are the lovely hosts Daniel and Burak - they are so welcoming and friendly, and really made us feel at home. Whilst our delicious breakfast was included, we also had the option to stay there for lunch and dinner (our dinner had three courses, amazing!) - both were delicious! Finally, the location is really convenient for the airport, and they offer a shuttle which is cheaper than getting a taxi. I cannot recommend staying there enough! Thank you Daniel and Burak!

After a long flight to CR we were looking for a great night of sleep. Alas, when we got to our room the linens were quite stained and the pillows were basically non-existent. While there was beer for purchase there was no food available and, as it was a bit late, we skipped dinner and tried to sleep. Too bad, because with a little sprucing up this could be a little gem. I noticed some complaints about the breakfast in other reviews. Not being much of a breakfast person I thought it was fine: an assortment of cold meats, fruit, cheese, bread, juice and coffee.

The view is indeed magnificent and the property is beautiful. Flowers, lush vegetation, fruit trees, birds. The owners are very nice and accommodating. We stayed there for 2 night and we felt at home. We chose to have dinner there and it was delicious - they made us German meatballs with sauce, rice and salad. The kids loved to pat the dog and the cat. There was also a pool but we didn't use it. It’s a perfect spot to stay close to the airport and to many attractions. We intended to visit the volcano Poas but since it wasn’t recommended for kids under 12, we went to La Paz waterfalls.
