This is not some 1 day stop-over joint. Learn from my mistake and book at least 3 days to be spoiled and pampered. If you're a fan of contemporary art and decor you will be in heaven. We literally did not want to leave our rooms. Imagine awaking to the beautiful skyline of San Jose each morning. The sliding glass...

I think I have a new favorite hotel. We stayed at Xandari just one night, but if I'd known how nice it was, I would have angled for more days. The room itself was spacious and well-appointed and stocked each day with complimentary water and various soft drinks, juices, and snacks. The private patio offered a breathtaking view of San...

I stayed in this hotel for one night before flying out of the San Jose airport. The hotel is located about 20 minutes away from the airport, up in the hills of Alajuela. From the restaurant and rooms, you had a gorgeous view of the twinkling lights of San Jose. The room was very spacious and clean. I had wanted...

What a beautiful setting in the hills of Alajuela. The property and view were gorgeous, even with rain and fog rolling through. The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to make us comfortable there. The food in the restaurant was excellent at well. We definitely plan on coming back here on our next visit to Costa Rica!

We spent our last night in Costa Rica at the Xandari resort, and wished we could have stayed much longer to have time to do more of what the resort has to offer. We didn't have enough time to walk to the waterfalls on the property, or tour the gardens, or plant trees or have spa treatments. There was a...

If it had not been for the big discount we got, we would have never stayed here. It is probably the most high end place I've ever stayed. Everything was great, the food, the property, the staff, the spa, and most off all the room. It was so spacious with a large private balcony. An extra big thank you to...

We stayed there after we arrived from a long flight to San Jose and it was great. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food was very good. The breakfast is super tasty. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The surroundings are gorgeous and there is a walking trail with a few waterfalls that I recommend. The...

San José Costa Rica Xandari Coffee Plantation, The hotel is approximately 20min drive from the airport. This is a beautiful boutique hotel with an expanse of Jungle areas and water falls. When you walk around the paths through the jungle you see all types of birds, butterflies and insects with the odd sightings of squirrels. The water falls are a...

Stunning place to stay. Very high quality spacious villas, set in gorgeous grounds, enabling you to walk around and explore the beautiful area, jump in a waterfall (all within the Xandari grounds) and swim in a beautiful infinity pool, with stunning views overlooking the Central Valley. Great food at the restaurant and very friendly staff. This is one of the...
