We stayed here for our last night in CR before heading to the airport the next day as many other traveler's seem to do...I can see why! The hotel is beautiful with huge villa style rooms overlooking the valley. The spa is a great place to relax, I had the full body massage which I would highly recommend and is...

We finished a 13 day tour of Costa Rica with a night at Xandari before our flight. It is a wonderful place - great, huge, attractive rooms full of artwork, terrific restaurant, attentive staff, amazing grounds and a spa as a bonus. We ate in the restaurant, hiked the trails, admired the buildings and views and the amazing view of...

Awesome place! The rooms are gorgeous and they have lots of space. We had a terrace with a beautiful view of the city and the forrest. They don't have a tv in the rooms, but that's fine by me. The wi-fi in the rooms is terrible, but that's the only opportunity area I found. The spa is great, lots of...

The hotel is beautiful, full of color and nice art work. Has a great location, only minutes away from the airport. Nice views of Alajuela Dowtown and lots of activities to do in the surrounding areas. Great room distribution and nice relaxing pool areas. Service was average but nothing extraordinary as I did noticed that they are not used to...

Dear JRMTraveler21, Thank you for taking your time to write this review. We are glad you enjoyed Xandari, but sorry to hear we did not fulfill your service expectations. The Xandari atmosphere is casual and friendly and regret that was perceived as a lack of professionalism; we will work on it. Both local and foreign guests are equally important to...

This resort was one of the highlights of places where we stayed in Costa Rica. All personel was very helpfull in all aspects. The rooms were very spacious, no noise from neighbours, only sounds of animals. We slept very well, the beds were really great. Breakfast was also decilcious. It was a nice way to end our Costa Rican vacation.

Nestled above the San Jose, it is easy to get to from the airport. This is more of a quite couple's place, but our kids had a great time during our 1-night stay. The resort has a well maintained private trail system with fun waterfalls and views. The landscaping on the grounds was truly amazing. We stayed at some of...

I've been going to Xandari regularly (at least twice a year) on my travels throughout Costa Rica - I begin and end there. It's a wonderful resort that has become a second home to me with the amazing staff - Jose, Christian, Diana, Marcela, Lucy, Abner, and the list goes on.... They are extremely warm, genuine hosts. The property is...

Xandari Resort and Spa is located on a coffee plantation and overlooks the valley and San Jose. it is an idyllic setting with walking paths and waterfalls, bamboo forests and it feels very remote despite being convenient to the international airport. Each room is unique and the orientation of the rooms makes each feel very private. The service was simply...

My husband and I were totally pleased with this resort. The grounds, rooms and views are beautiful. We were very impressed with the attention to detail in our room and throughout the resort.
