This hotel is perfect for one night in San Jose if you are arriving late. We stayed on our arrival and again before our departure back to the United States. The check-in process was a breeze and by using the Marriott Bonvoy app we were able to completely skip the front desk. The mobile key was convenient although it gave us trouble in the elevator during our first stay. But no worries, it was easy to figure out. Our rooms were spotless. I clean everywhere I go to be cautious but the two rooms we stayed in were the cleanest I have ever seen. The water was hot and the rain showerhead felt fantastic after long travel days. We did not take advantage of nearly enough of their amenities but we did manage to order room service through Centro which was delicious for hotel quality food and the man that delivered our food was friendly. I would also like to applaud the speediness and cleanliness of the free airport shuttles. These run every thirty minutes and the pick up location at the airport is in front of the Malinche Restaurant. The only thing that disappointed me was that the mattress was a bit on the firm side. I managed to sleep well but it could use a bit more cushion. Overall, we will stay here the next time we plan on visiting Costa Rica.

A perfect spot if you need to be by the airport. My family stayed here after arriving very late at night to San Jose and before our very early morning departure. The hotel is clean, efficient, and the hotel shuttle is excellent.

I stayed at this hotel due to it being next to the airport and having a free shuttle. The convenience was not worth it. I will start with the cons as this is why I would not stay there again. The water was very cold. I had a 7:30am flight and when I got in the shower it was freezing cold. I though maybe since the pressure was low due to them being an eco friendly hotel it would warm up. It didn’t. After myself and my husband showered the water was still cold. The room was not sound insulated. Every time someone stepped off the elevator we could hear them. We could hear every word our neighbors said also in the room. They had a cappuccino/hot chocolate/coffee machine on every floor for free. I went out to get a cup of hot chocolate and it was out. So I tried the cappuccino and it was out. When I asked the front desk she said sorry there is nothing she could do. None of the food services were open until later in the morning even though the airport shuttles started at 4am. There is also no food open at all in the mornings so we had to go through airport security hungry. The front desk told me to tell the vallet to open the gate for the locked parking (San Jose has a car theft issue). When I asked he told me to just park in the front spaces that were not locked. Luckily I told him no that o would only park on the locked area so he reluctantly opened the gate. I got the receipt for the items I purchased while there (one Gatorade) which was supposed to be $3.04 US dollars but they charged my credit card $100 so I had to get that fixed. The pros. The facility was new so it was very clean and nice. The restaurant and coffee shop also looked really nice though I did not get to try them due to the hours of operation. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean The front desk was extremely friendly although they would not refill the hot chocolate/cappuccino machine that was offered on every floor since it was completely empty. The free shuttle to the airport was nice to have and on time. They had a locked parking lot which is a nice feature in San Jose once they let me in. They had a nice beverage selection at the front desk at reasonable prices.

Stayed here on the last night of our honeymoon before flying out the following morning. Lourdes at the front desk made our stay extra special by arranging for us to have robes, chocolates and chocolate pistachio covered strawberries brought to our room. This was such a kind gesture and made the end of our honeymoon/transition to reality a little easier! Restaurants across the road, walmart across the road if needed as well as restaurant/cafe on site. Airport shuttle starting at 0430, only took 5 minutes to get to airport. Great spot to stay if flying in/out of SJO!

I went back and forth on where to stay when getting in and leaving Costa Rica but I’m so glad we selected this location. After a long day of travel, we were so grateful for the free shuttle, easy checkin process, and a clean room. Highly recommend for your first night in or last night before a flight.
