we stayed here one night while making our way to another destination the folowing day. the room was beautiful and quiet and the sound of the river below was so relaxing at night. We had a chance to spend time with our mom in the property and everyone was friendly and corteus to us. We loved this property and wished we would have had stayed longer. the grounds in this piece of heaven are beautiful and we were so impressed with all the flowers, plants, trees and vegetation, everything around it was so well kept, a total hidden gem. The coffee and Breakfast in the morning was also amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. we had a wonderful stay. Thank you Tania And Dave

Room Tip: The rooms closer to the River are more quiet from cars but we did not find it noisy at all closer...

My husband and I just spent two weeks here while we explored some of the highlights of visiting Costa Rica. From the moment we arrived Charles and his staff made it the most enjoyable experience. A driver was waiting for us at the airport when we arrived. Our room was so beautifully appointed. And starting the day off with one of their special breakfasts was a perfect way to start the day. Oh, and the gardens ... so beautiful. Charles asked us what we wanted to do and made it happen. Everything from tours to the most popular attractions to meeting a few local Expats and them sharing their knowledge with us. This was the best vacation I ever could have imagined. I can hardly wait to go back again!

We have lived in CR full time for 5 years now and La Terraza Guest House has to be our favorite place to stay when in the Grecia/Atenas area of the country. Beautiful property and comfortable room. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, so much so that he personally made us one of the best breakfasts we have had at any restaurant in Costa Rica. Thank you Charles.

The owner was absent during our stay. But he was agressive. He wanted to get 10$ extra. Impolite and rude. He harassed us and kept sending msg. We literally had to block him Plus he gave us the most noisy room you can ever sleep in.

We are number one in our area for over 20 years. You reserved for one person when there were 2 people in order to save money for yourself. There is an additional 10.00 dollar fee for an extra person. The room you chose has a description of noise and you ignored this looking for a cheap room. You have gone to every sight to complain and also have recruited your friends who have never visited us to do the same and leave negative reviews. In addition, you used someone else's credit card to make a payment. The only one being harrassed is La Terraza by you and your crew. We do not participate in nonsense. I hope that you will find peace in your life journey and wish you many blessings.

I am a returning guest to LaTerraza. It is my home away from home in Costa Rica . I love all the new touches to this property. The upgraded suites, new menues and the mural are the BOMB. I am inviting my friends to join me in a Fall getaway for women only. Charles is the greatest host, a perfect hostiler who makes you feel at home.
