Loved this resort. It was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed at. The view, the lush greenery, the amazing pools. The restaurant with open air views of lush vegetation and birds. The food was very good. Service a little slow , but that's ok, we were on holidays. The room was clean, bright and big, with a wonder...

we stayed at the hotel for the week of Thanksgiving, my kids didnt want to leave. We enjoyed the lush La Fortuna area, Rooms are simple but clean, great inclusive breakfast. We hiked the grounds to the overlook of the Volcano, beautiful sunset on top of a mountain and saw Toucans in the trees. That made my trip! The hotel...

We stayed two nights during a Costa Rica round trip. Hotel is ok for local standards. The rooms would need some renovation. We could close the windows anymore. Which is annoying when you want to avoid all kind of insects. The restaurant was fighting with the high number of guests at peak times. Based on that experience it would be...

We were in Costa Rica for a one week vacation. We booked an overnight tour, which included Arenal Volcano and Monteverde Cloud Mountain. The tour was sold as staying at a 5 star resort (Los Lagos) after spending time at Tabacon Hot Springs. The resort is beautiful ! The hot springs, pool and grounds are exceptional. Upon arival and booking...

This hotel was very clean. Pools were nice with areas for relaxing. Having to walk to lobby for towels in evenings was inconvenient. Rooms had beautiful views. Nice to have refrigerator in room. Dining area was gorgeous/ open air and food good.

Hotel Los Lagos was a great vacation destination and I would recommend it for anyone looking for a place to stay in the La Fortuna area! We went on a family vacation for five days and did lots of traveling, however when we were at the resort, it was great. Very relaxing, while still lots to do. We hiked to...

We did not stay in this hotel--though had we known about it when originally booking our trip, we would have. We came for the day and did the canopy tour (zip line) which then gave us access to the beautiful grounds and the super fun swimming pools (natural hot springs and regular/cool pools) as well as the crazy fast slides...

Looking over an active (not too active) volcano, our room was the best we had in Costa Rica. The hot springs was a real treat with several different pools of varying temperatures. The distances from your rooms to the pools could be a little daunting, but they have a shuttle service which was great-never had to wait. The staff was...

This hotel is VERY neat, it is like an all-in-one place and close to everything (there are no hot springs at the hotel, but there are some near by). The grounds at the resort are just outstanding. You can spend hours walking through them looking at animals, waterfalls a "lake," and the oddities along the way. We stayed up on...

This hotel is in a beautiful, though hilly, setting. There are lush plantings and gardens, and the rooms are quite spread out. It is in full view of the volcano. The network of pools - both cool water and hot springs - with slides and a pool bar, were one of the highlights - especially for kids. The breakfast (included)...
