Well located with a nice view for the Volcan (if the crazy weather in the region let you see thru the foggy clouds), a very helpful and friendly staff, big and comfortable accommodation and a very tasty breakfast. WiFi working properly too.

Very good lodge, situated at the bottom of the volcano. The view (only when the volcano is not surrounded by clouds) is stunning. Situated in a very touristic area but the lodge itself is very peaceful. Lots of animals in the trees around the lodge, so ideal for spotting animals. Nice swimming pool and very good food in the restaurant...

Beautiful eco minded hotel with separate buildings as opposed to rooms. When I say eco minded, this is true of all of Costa Rica. Tissue does not go into the toilet, and the ac is on an automated system. When you close and open the doors, it comes on and shuts off. I was so taken with this attitude of...

We loved the charm of this hotel so near to Fortuna and all the great tours. The restaurant was quite good and well priced. The staff was helpful, accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed the bungalow style versus a traditional hotel and we were lucky to see the volcano from our rooms every single day! The beds were a bit hard...

We stayed in cabin 408 for two nights. Do not stay in 408 as you can hear the tour bus and cars. The beds are VERY hard and every time my husband moved it sounded like the bed was going to fall apart. The lighting, or lack there of, was TERRIBLE. I could not see to read my book, or...

We loved staying here for two nights. The staff at the restaurant (the shrimp ceviche was outstanding!) and front desk were very nice. I loved being able to have a table in a lodge room to see the volcano. We learned that at night we could NOT leave the light on the porch on or else we'd wake to millions...

Dear Gretchen S. Thank you for your visit to our mountain lodge. Regarding the insects at night, don´t blame yourself about that, it isn't your fault that nature has a particular behavior and that the bugs like the white light a lot. Remember this is a rain forest location and that our lodge is at a very short distance from...

We were transferred to this hotel after our hotel had some pipe issues! What a wonderful surprise! We arrived in the rain, at night (big surprise!
