We stayed at resort as part of a tour group Our bungalows were closest to the road, and obviously, the oldest bungalows. Some had leaky roofs, maintenance on these bungalows was poor: shower doors coming off track, rubber seals around the shower doors, loose and falling off. Windows would not open, leaving us to have to use AC in a...

Stayed here for 2 nights. The check-in was quick and simple. We were shown to our room by the Porter who gave us a very informative intro to the room. Never had so much info when being shown to a room before! The cabin was fantastic. There was a Jacuzzi bath and rocking chairs. Complementary bath robes. The bed was...

We had a great time at Montana de Fuego. The staff was wonderful - friendly and helpful. The grounds were well maintained. We had our own private bungalo, which was fantastic. It offered a scenic view of the volcano and we had our own private balcony overlooking a miniature man-made lake. This is a great spot if you like a...

NO NO NO - this place is not where you want to stay. The hotel is next to the highway and is very rundown.
