Wow was I amazed by this Hostel! Like it is actually like a resort! The food is decent at a competitive price to La Fortuna. The entire hostel is gated and fenced in and has parking. I spent 2 nights in the Tents and 1 in A/C'ed room with 2 doubles and a bunk bed (private). The tents were really...

Stayed here for 3 nights in a deluxe tent during a backpacking trip round Costa Rica and it was by far the best hostel we stayed in. The tent was nice with plugs and a comfy bed (although really hot with the sun baking in the morning!) The pool and hammock area is great, as well as the restaurant/bar which...

My boyfriend and I arrived in la Fortuna around 8pm. The check-in into Arenal Backpackers was very welcoming. The bar made us some great food and tasty drinks. We checked into a private room which was very nice and the beds were comfortable. The best part of the room has to be the AC! (much needed)

My friend and I stayed at Arenal Backpackers resort for three nights and had a great experience! The atmosphere is really cool - there's a big lounge area with music, places to hang out and socialize. We met lovely people here! A small restaurant/café/bar is open all day and the staff is friendly and very helpful! We stayed in a...

I stayed here for just one night because of the convenient location. The property looks real beautiful and well taken care of. There is a nice pool and restaurant. Most of the guest seemed to be groups of young people so it has the atmosphere of a party hostel even though there are also families staying here. They play loud...

This place was great. We stayed in the tents (beware they have ants), but it felt like a high class resort. The pool was fantastic. Location was great - close to a tone of restaurants / touristy stuff. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The on side restaurant served great food. Highly recommended.

Nothing to do with the conventional hostel. This hostel is the equivalent of a mini resort. Cleanliness A +, good atmosphere and the staff is courteous. Highly recommended in this area. There is a lot of good vibe, it is not for people who seek tranquility at all costs. Shout out to Kim

A friend of mine and myself traveled here for 4 nights. We stayed in a private room which was reasonably priced and very comfortable for a "hostel!" The restaurant on site is delicious and the staff, especially Kim, was wonderful! Also, book tours through the front desk as they are fun and also reasonable! I would definitely stay here again...

Mix between Hotel and Hostel, but still, not too big, so it kinda keeps the "hostel vibe". A little further away from "downtown" La Fortuna (but La Fortuna is so small anway!). 5 minutes walk from center. Nice view on the Arenal volcano. Rooms are clean. A/C and lockers available! Hammocks all around to relax. No kitchen available, but there...
