Stayed Jan 11 -14, 2022. Outside our front door was a view of Arenal Volcano -and the clouds cleared out the last night. Room was clean and nice. We were a group of 4 adults - 2 parents and 2 college kids. Staff was excellent and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful every morning. Our favorite dinner was at the swim up back bar - we were the only people there and were able order from a menu with great variety. The Hot Springs on site were nice - we took advantage and soaked in the evenings. The college kids are really into animals, so we did stop at the Natura Ecological Park for their butterfly, snake, and frog exhibit. The Park is located just outside the Resort. We did excursions (Sky Tram, Sky Trek, and Sky Walk one day; ATV and Whitewater Rafting the other) that were awesome. We had one issue with reporting our negative COVID test online (our self made issue) which required several calls back to the United States - the front desk people were wonderful in helping us letting us call from the front desk to get it resolved. We could not say enough about the great service with had at Arenal Springs Resort. COVID protocol (sanitizing stations located going in and out of buildings, mask requirements for all inside and transportation, all staff wore masks at all times), was strictly followed, felt safer here than at home.

Beautifully laid out with all the rooms looking at the volcano. Saw and heard beautiful birds every morning. Used the spa facilities morning and night. Wonderful…. Nothing like drinking a delicious cocktail while in the pool! Staff was extremely attentive and kind and accommodating. Carlos makes the best strawberry daiquiri of all of Costa Rica! 👍

The staff were excellent, the rooms were very nice, the food was good, especially breakfast. Restaurants seemed pretty pricey for dinner, we went to town most evenings. Pretty grounds, nice pools. Good yoga class.

This resort offers simply unbelievable views of the volcano, with beautifully manicured landscaping everywhere you look. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the Juniot suite and absolutely loved our front “porch” area, where we spent lots of time listening to and admiring the birds. The entire pool area was incredible, with excellent service at all of the swim-up bars. Honestly, the only thing we didn’t absolutely love about this resort was the food: Especially considering the premium prices, we thought it was pretty sub-par. I’d say all of the restaurant food was comparable to a mediocre cruise buffet. Honestly the food at the sushi / snack bar was better (and slightly cheaper) than the food in the restaurants; I’d definitely recommend taking a taxi into La Fortuna for dinner.

We visited the resort Dec 26th to the 29th, and this place was wonderful. We had 5 of us altogether, with two rooms adjoining, just like a duplex… and that was really convenient and quiet. The grounds are big and lovely, lizards around as well as the cute small stingless bees found in Costa Rica. Meals were good and the warm spring pools and swim up bars were awesome. Good staff and perfect view of the volcano. A gem of a place. It was about a 3 hour ride from the SJO airport. Loved this place, and I highly recommend it.
