We stayed at a place a little ways away, but Arenal Oasis was able to provide transportation for us- which was helpful since our tour was at night! When we arrived, they provided water and flashlights. Our guide was very knowledgeable, personable, and was GREAT with my small children (ages 3 and 7). I was so appreciative of how accommodating...

We came to the Arenal Oasis as our first real stop on our Costa Rica trip. When you come there you notice it is raining a lot there. Everything is very green and you feel like in a jungle. We did not go on any of their tours (we prefer going places on our own), so we cannot judge them....

We usually trust ourselves to discover our travel destinations by ourselves, but on a whim we booked a night walk to see the frogs at Arenal Oasis Eco Lodge -- and our experience was so amazing that we ended up booking night walks for the rest of our two weeks in Costa Rica! We arrived at the wildlife refuge and...

We kicked off our holiday on Arenal and chose Oasis as our base. Beautiful cabins in a gorgeous green location surrounded by wildlife and vegetation. The breakfast was pretty good with excellent staff and a great bird show in the morning while you eat. It's a little bit out of town, but that's okay as there are shops and diners...

We expected 2 beds in one big room, so were pleasantly surprised to find a two-bedroom cabin with plenty of privacy for 3 adults. There were only 2 sets of towels, but the owner himself brought us a third. Beds were comfortable, ceiling fans provided plenty of coolth. Highlight was the night tour where our guide kept pulling rabbits out...

The cottage is basic but very clean but what makes this place special is the jungle night tour and the friendly owners. We saw spiders, snakes and many frogs on the night tour. At breakfast time they have bird feeders which attracts many different type of birds. Staying here was highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. Pablo at front...

Amazing staff and there night walk and birding tour is wonderful. Just know there is no air conditioning and it does get humid in the cabins. The food was the best I had in Costa Rica. We loved the morning breakfast time. They put out fruit and the birds come and eat. You'll see mot mots, aracaris, saltator and Orioles.

We arrived here late ( actually after the reception was supposed to close) but they were waiting up for us! The little cabins were excellent; hot showers, comfortable bed, and felt like you were staying in a great oasis. The breakfast was great; choice of a couple basic options and fresh fruit. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The Arenal Oasis Eco Lodge is a small family owned lodge. The rooms are in fact separate small wooden houses. each house consists of a parking place (if you come with a rental car like we did), a terrace with a few seats or a bench, a main room/sleeping room and a bathroom. All is very well maintained and our...

I m a retouring customer, l now personally know the Rojas family (the owners) and have been going back since about 10 years. I like that place because of the good service and professional attention they give you when you are there. You literally feel like part of the family. That place is centrally located and is very quiet, they...
