    It's all true!! This place is just the best! There's mom, dad, brother, sister..a truely local family run place. All very helpful with everything from booking a private horseback ride( picked up with the horse right at the hotel!), boat tour, lava viewing at night...More

    We took a public bus from San Jose 'bus station'. It was very cheap - about $6 each. It took about 4.5 hours to the centre of La Fortuna, then we got a taxi to the hotel. That only took about 5 minutes and cost about $5.
