Spent two nights at the hotel and enjoyed our stay. The included breakfast was quite good for a buffet A la carte option would have been nice. The closeness to town and the lava flows was a plus hotel had nice pool with swim up bar. Jose made a nice margarita. Rooms were nice and the beds were good if...

We stayed at this hotel as part of our tour of Costa Rica. The plus points to this hotel are the location - the view of the volcano is fantastic and it is also located at the beginning of the small "high street" allowing you to go to local restaurants and bars rather than those in the hotel. They did...

We booked for one night and it wasn't great. It caters to bus tours, so there were lots, but we had a great stay. Staff were amazing!!!! Pool was great, and hot tub helped to ease sore muscles from days of hiking. Breakfast was delicious and lots of options on the buffet. Would stay again

I stayed here as part of a Caravan Tour. The room was fine and the outdoor space was really beautiful. However, because there was another tour here at the same time, eating was not a pleasant experience. Servers were taking plates from us while we were still eating. And, the food was only mediocre.

we booked two rooms in this hotel, it turned out to be an amazing choice. The hotel is fairly new i suppose because they are still building a lot. The only thing we noticed from the construction; the elevator was broken, but someone from the hotel helped to carry everything up. The hotel water-bar was great and usually there were...

The Hotel has just added on an addition, we were in that portion. The room had a great view of the volcano, overlooking a garden and was first class. A few small issues with us being among the first guests, (air conditioner kicked off a few times) but the management was super they responded to issues immediately.

We enjoyed a couple of nights at this hotel which is clearly under a program of subtle improvement. Reception staff were pleasant and explained what you needed to know well and were helpful. We were a little unsure about the hotel based on the front and reception area but as we made our way to the room we were happy....

We stayed at Mountain Magic while on a Caravan tour. The good, the room was brand new or recently refurbished, everything was new. The bathroom shower, sink, toilet and all the bathroom fixtures were new, shiny and nice. The mini-fridge, desk, and beds were new and mattresses comfortable. The view of the volcano was excellent!! Also the pool and grounds...

This hotel was great in many ways, sitting on the veranda in the morning looking having coffee was amazing - until the grounds crew went by. Dinner was very nice at the restaurant- until a truck went by trying to climb the hill. The room was really great - until you noticed the black mold in the corner. We really...

We spent 2 nights here. The rooms are new and clean. Great AC. very good maid service. There's not much parking and it seems to be a good place for tour groups to book with as there was 2 large coaches there when we were staying. The restaurant was not the best. We had the dinner buffet and it was...
