Everything about this boutique hotel is fantastic! The food, service and spa are top notch. You feel as if you have climbed into a luxurious jungle. The surroundings are all natural and the wildlife is amazing. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

My husband and I stayed here for our Honeymoon in December. Magical is the only word I can conjure that begins to describe our experience. The grounds and views are beyond compare in beauty - every sense is engaged as you make your way through the carefully curated gardens and

Nayarra Resort is beyond anything I’ve ever been to. The lush landscaping, flowing fountains, sky bridges, and view of the Arenal volcanoe from our room were “pura vida”. My only 4 star would go to one of the restaurants. Asia Luna, while a gorgeous atmosphere was lacking in qual

We had the most wonderful surprise on arriving at this hotel, it had been booked for us by a third party and we arrived having just white water rafted out from Pacuare lodge,so we’re not looking exactly smart. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble

From the moment we drove up it seemed like everyone bent over backwards to take care of you. The service was top notch in all areas from check-in, help with activities and directions, the restaurant, the drinks by the pool...I mean everything was perfect. We enjoyed that there wa

Looking into staying here for my honeymoon. I was wondering how far of a drive from the LIR airport? Also, how far into town. I would like to visit places outside of the resort as well. What is estimated time to get from the resort to the excursions?
The resort is 2 yo 3 hours from the airport. It is close to town, $10 by taxi each way. I did the zip line excursion ans it eas about a 20 minute drive from the resort to the facility.

Other than the price, what is the primary difference between the Rainforest Villa and the Casita Deluxe?
I think rainforest villas are in adults only section which is higher up the mountain. There is free access to all areas though. Casita room was fantastic.

Hello, We are a couple travelling with no children. Can we access the pool and restaurant on the Nayara springs side of the resort? Can the resort and spa access the same breakfast restaurant and buffet--it is a buffet breakfast at altimara isnt it? Or is there anoter restaurant you can access if you are at the springs? I am a little confused as to the difference between the sides of the resort. Is the difference primarily within the rooms themselves? I also see that the Springs gives you a complimentary sloth tour--can we purchase this if staying at the other side? Thank you all for your help! Im so excited to come to Costa Rica!
You can access all the restaurants in either side of the resort. The villa are adult only and they deliver breakfast to you room as an option if you wish to not go sit at the restaurant. There are a lot of food options to suit everyone. We went to the tapa and wine bar which was great. Their coffee house was also excellent. They roast their own coffee beans on site.

Is there transport available from and to San Jose airport at all hours of the day? Is it save to rent car and drive all hours of the day?
We rented a car from Desafio (for 8 people). It is $145 each way.

We arranged transportation through the hotel. They picked us up and returned us to SJO at the end of our visit. It is about a 2 1/2 hour ride over a series of small roads. I can not advise you about rental cars.

"Volcano view is probably the best, but even the garden view rooms looked lovely and secluded."
"Extensive grounds on steep slopes so be aware but staff will transport you in golf buggies."
"The outdoor shower is wonderful and the free Britt in-room expressos are quite a treat!!"
"Avoid casita #8 if possible. People crossing bridge can see onto deck and into room. We kept drapes closed."
"mind the construction noise for the upper rooms"
