Rooms were nice. Reasonably price. Restaurant was also good. Breakfast Was included and a good spread of fruits eggs and beans. The way the hotel was arranged helped with the street noise but you could still hear it. They've done the best they could do.

The staff, restaurant and cleanest of the hotel was top notch. The location of hotel was very disappointing. It is located in in an industrial area on a main hi way. You either have to use a taxi to go into Cartago costing about $8 each way. To walk into Cartago it took over one hour of steady walking.

The hotel is situated within one hour travel distance to Orosi Valley, the national parks Volcano Irazu and Tapanti as well the from our side very recommended Guayabo National Monument. We had a Junior Suite at a very reasonable price including fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. The staff is extremely customer oriented and there is also a...

When we arrived, we were given a room (double) one step down from the one we booked. However, after we brought it to the attention of the staff, we were upgraded to a two bedroom. We had no water one day as a water pipe broke (these things happen), but the staff offered us a temporary room for the day...

This hotel it's great for business, transit or attending sports events. It is about an hour away from the airport. We stay for a robotics competition at the Polideportivo de Cartago. The rooms are comfortable, but if you stay in the rooms that face the street, you will have a lot of noise at night because it is in the...

Far from town but functional and clean with a great bfast. We used it as a stopover from Caribbean to pacific side. Near a large supermarket but difficult to walk anywhere. We did enjoy a quick visit to the basilica while we were there. Comfy beds nice shower.

I stayed in this hotel because it is really close to an industrial park in Cartago. In my opinion it is a bit expensive compared to what you get. If there was a closer option in that area I would definitely try it. In the other hand, the restaurant is good, the amount of food and quality were really good.

American style hotel situated at Carretera Interamericana. Clean rooms, good breakfast and indoor parking. Simple (no pool, no gym, etc.) and suitable for those who want to visit Cartago (old capital) or San Jose (current capital). There is a nice mall nearby (Paseo Metropoli).

Small hotel around the entrance to the Cartago free zone. Small, clean and quaint. Not fancy, edible food, super polite staff. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in town but don't like the idea of small town life (center of Cartago basically).
