Worst Stay Ever. AC noisy. Pillows very thin. No breakfast menu. All they are interest is selling the $27 breakfast buffet. And a $270 deposit for food purchasing. The hotel is far from the city of Liberia. I’m glad they soon will have a Hampton Inn. Competing after 15 years on tool of the hill.

We stayed here the night we landed at LIR, and we also stayed the night before we flew back to the US. On both occasions we were happy with our stay. The staff are friendly, the hotel is clean, and the location is perfect for airport access. We got wonderful sleep on both nights. The breakfast was perfect for our family, although I wish is was automatically included in the price of the room. The pool looked lovely, though we didn't have a chance to use it. Wifi is complimentary with a strong signal. The free airport shuttle is very convenient, and we utilized it on the night of our arrival (very late!) as well as the morning we needed to get back to the airport to fly home. Also, we rented a vehicle from Sixt, which is just down the road. Upon our departure, we were able to give our keys to the hotel front desk, and Sixt later picked up the vehicle from the hotel. We appreciated this option at the hotel.…

Pros: located 5 minutes drive away from the airport w/ free shuttle every 15 minutes. Free wifi. Fast friendly check in and check out. 7 min walking distance to Monk & Capra (a good coffee/ breakfast spot). Room has mini fridge and microwave. Cons: air conditioning is loud. Toilet kept running. Shower water pressure is weak. Beds and pillows are ok. Overall, a convenient place to stay near the airport.

There's a new dining/drinking venue at HGI Liberia. I'm not sure if it even has a name yet. We had already finished dinner tonight and were sitting by the pool with drinks when a staff member told us about the outdoor bar just west of the pool. Brahim made a great drink for my wife and gave me a quick history lesson on Rums of the Caribbean and Central America.

Great stay! Great pool. Everything new and well taken care of. Very good service. A bit pricier than we'd normally stay but well done. Dropped of car at Alamo right in the reception area. Airport right across the highway. Food very good although a bit pricey.

1. Positive: The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which actually is consistent throughout Costa Rica. 2. Positive: The breakfast had a surprising number of choices and the food was tasty. 3. Positive: The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. 4. Negative: Shower pressure was terrible. 5. Negative: The free shuttle doesn't come so frequently. We waited for at least 1/2 hour in the brutal heat. For $10 you can get a taxi right at the same spot as you wait for the shuttle.

Nice hotel, Very quiet for an airport hotel as the airport is small and has very little air traffic, and our room was well insulated from the noise. We stayed here the last two nights in Costa Rica and drove to Palo Verde National park about 1.5 hrs away. The hotel is nice, clean with good svc and what you would expect from Hilton. It's not their best property but it is very nice. The pool area is nicer than it looks in the sterile photos, the food in the restaurant looks better than it is. Enterprise rent a car has an office in the lobby and you can return your car there, so that's convenient if you are doing that from 9-5ish. The airport Enterprise office is not far if you are returning or picking up a car other times. The hotel is kind of out on this long busy one-lane-each- direction road and there is not much around but there are a few things if you have a car. They are prepping a lot of property around this for more buildings, so it will be less isolated eventually. A hundred, I would guess, green parrots roost in the tree out in front of the hotel. They come in about 6pm. Fun to watch, they are very loud for about half an hour if you are out by the tree.…

I booked a refundable stay and ended up calling the hotel to cancel well within the cancellation window. A couple of weeks later, I was surprised to find that they had charged my credit card anyway. When I called the hotel to inquire about the charge, I was told that they had no record of my cancellation and I was being charged for a “no show.” While I never actually had a chance to stay at this hotel, I certainly never will in the future based on the poor customer service experience.

Comfortable bed, good size room. Clean and staff is pleasant. The negative was breakfast. It was the worst of any breakfast we had during the two weeks we were in Costa Rica. Otherwise the hotel was very pleasant and the proximity to rental car and airport is very convenient

The location is great and the outdoor pool and eating area is a plus. We were upgraded to a suite, based on our Hilton status and room was generous size. Breakfast buffet is expensive but you can also order ala carte. Drinks at bar are average and we ordered a pizza to go for our room and it was mediocre. Shuttle to airport was easy.
