Not a ton of great options in Liberia for hostels, this place is okay but not somewhere we wanted to stay any longer. We got a private room for 2 nights before heading to Nicaragua. Common courtyard area is pleasant enough with some benches and rickety tables, lots of greenery. Wifi was decent. Shared bathrooms were small and not super...

We read the bad reviews before we booked as this was the only cheap place which had rooms available when we booked a couple of days in advance. We lowered our expectations and when we checked in we thought it wasn't so bad and we could manage a 2 night stay. This all turned bad when a baby cockroach ran...

This hostel is a lovely colourful place with a nice courtyard for relaxing in. The staff were helpful and friendly and the place was clean enough. No kitchen (though a fridge in reception). Main problem we had was the noise, as the walls were thin so we heard a lot of noise from other rooms (doors, TVs, conversations).

The room we stayed in had a private bathroom but the floor of the bed room was so filthy. Which is a shame because the hotel looks like it would be so cool if it was just more maintained. The bathroom floor had a huge crack leading to the outside it was a bit daunting to shower in there. Also...

The hotel is more of several apartments calm with good atmosphere. The receptionist helped us a lot to find cool places in the area and he is very kind! It has clean toilet and you get towels. It doesn't have a kitchen just water fridge and some dishes. It has a parking area which is very important. The room itself...

This was our first stop in CR and we'd heard so many traveller stories of just how crazy expensive the country was. So when we found a double room here with towels and a TV for $24 we were pretty happy. The rooms were cute with old fashioned objects as accessories, plus shelves and tables etc to put things on...

We slept there 3 nights because we wanted to visit the national Parc. Unfortunately it was closed because of the storm. The owner is really nice and gives you a lot of advice what you can do and he speaks good English. The garden is okay, unfortunately there are no hammocks and it's very dry. We stayed in a 3...

This place was as cheap as you'll get in CR without being a dump. It's clean, cozy, and has everything you need. It's great for a quick stay as it doesn't have a kitchen - just a fridge, microwave & kettle. It's location is great - right near the best restaurants in the guidebook as well as the bus station....

$24US with shared bath - don´t expect any luxuries. Place needs a really really good clean, dust and dirt build up everywhere. Pillows are atrocious. Courtyard nice to sit in. Denis very helpful with information about Liberia and what to see, also with arrangements for transfers.

Thank Laura J
