Top 5 reasons to go:
1) service is fantastic (staff are very friendly with a sincere desire to please - best service I have experience in Latin America/Caribbean at an all-inclusive; employees seem very happy)
2) food is terrific - Las Candelas (Latin American) was...More
My friends and I have been coming here for 8 consecutive years. You know we have to love it! The best accommodations and amenities. The staff is the best. Couldn't ask for anything more. We especially liked the water aerobics and the nightly shows they...More
(Sorry for the long review) Let me start off by saying what I have said so many times before, I don't expect perfection but what happens after the problem arises is what truly will set a company or it employees apart when the dust settles....More
I booked this resort for a conference and booked through my conference organizer. Our stay was for a week. As a disclaimer, I am usually not a fan of all-inclusive resorts. I find the food not always great and it's overcrowded or difficult to get...More

I personally did not like their attitude. they tell you to make a reservation for dinner before you arrive or as soon as you check in. how are you going to know what you want to eat and at high Restaurant just by looking at their Web page? they do have wheel chair access BUT mostly you need to travel by golf cart from your room especially if you are farther away. Mitra is the buffet which has big choice of foods but the French Restaurant in the lobby and Spiritula, the Italian one are the best in my opinion. For the price of this resort I would say it is poor value
compared to most all inclusives. They have no hard liquor in the room unlike the less expensive Riu a short distance a way. Also, my room only had one tin of Pepsi, one diet Pepsi and one 7 up in the fridge and two local beers and two Heineken. I will never book there again. management attitude is poor.
