While our stay was a quick one night at Toro Blanco, I can’t stay enough about how great the staff are! We needed a place to stay overnight before joining a group at a villa in Playa Ocotal. I picked Toro Blanco based on their reviews and photos of the charming hotel. However, due to my error I accidently cancelled my reservation! Amber and Gabi were gracious to help us and found us a room! And they made recommendations for restaurants that were yummy! We loved the convenience of the hotel to walk to the beach and town. I also enjoyed the wonderful breakfast that we ate on our patio overlooking the pool. The room was clean and perfect for our needs. I was only sorry we didn’t stay longer! Their generosity continued when we stopped in a few days later looking for assistance to get a taxi back to our villa. Mucho gracias! …

Amazing ....Amazing .....Amazing!!! The staff becomes family. The hotel is located perfectly for those with and without cars. The room had everything we needed...including a beautiful balcony with a hammock!! 2 weeks was just not enough!! Thank Toro Blanco family for making our stay with you perfect!! See you again soon!!!

We had a beautiful time in Tamarindo and stumbled across playa del coco when our flight was cancelled. Toro Blanco Is a boutique hotel that is unique and classic Central America feel. excellent security and superior customer service. I traveled with my 3 daughters and wife and felt very safe. The pool and verandas are very close with lots of hammocks. The rooms have kitchens and beds are comfy with excellent AC. 5 out of 5 stars and a must stay in playas del coco. 30 minutes from Liberia. Toro blanco is featured in our upcoming vlog “4 girlz and a guy” Costa Rica family vaca. I loved this spot.

Toro Blanco has parking is close to the beach and all restaurants snd attractions. The staff was the best! They were knowledgeable and helpful. There is a great huge pool relight outside our room! Beach umbrellas and towels provided. There was a kitchenette and breakfast included.

This hotel is conveniently located at a 5 minutes walking distance from the beach Playas del Coco. It is a perfect place for couples looking to have a romantic time/weekend or celebrating a special occasion. Every room has a patio with seating & a hammock, a kitchenette and indoor seating. Few things that are hard to find at other hotels. Totally recommend this place to anyone who is going to Playas del Coco.

If you are going to stay in Coco, Toro Blanco is the place to stay. Very close to everything, beach, restaurants, shops, etc. There is a place in the corner where you can rent a scooter to go exploring other places. Toro Blanco is under new administration and is being renovated now, very friendly staff, clean rooms, nice and spacious balcony with pool view. We had a very good experience here. If we go back to Coco we will definitely be staying here again.

We stayed here for a month and loved our time there. It was our second time to this hotel so we knew what we were getting. Leo, Frederica and Micki are fantastic staff and their beautiful animals only add to the place. We just loved the pool, the location and the room. Housekeeping went above and beyond and they worked so hard every single day. The only downside to our experience were the beds. We had 2 twins and they were both hard and very uncomfortable. The bigger beds are the same so we didn't change rooms but it made it hard to sleep. Overall, a great place to stay and would definitely go back if we're in the area.The best part was meeting our Canadian neighbors!! Thanks everyone y PURA VIDA!!

I am so glad you enjoyed your stay! The hotel has been under new ownership and management since October 12, 2021 and we have been working daily to improve Toro Blanco since then. The location is still wonderful, close to the beach and downtown. We are working on creating the look and feel of a Costa Rica, Boutique Beach Hotel. We loved it here. The only negative for us was the bed but Loved the pool, 1 block from beach (pool is better than the beach) downtown heart of coco which was nice to go and eat, walk. Family is Italian which I guessed by all the beautiful Murano glass lights hanging and they were amazing. This would be an awesome place for a group to stay and or a wedding location. Yes is it a but dated but still awesome. We enjoyed the stay! Loved the parquita say “la cucracha” and he repeats!

Super hospitable family run operation. Gated, night security guard, CLEAN, pool, AC, kitchenette and all for a great price. There were several other options in the area for similar prices but could not even compare to the value!
