We were in Plays a Del Coco for a family destination wedding and stayed at Hotel Coco Palms for 4 days in March. If you're looking for a 4 star hotel with all the amenities you won't find it here. If you're looking for a clean, safe hotel with a delightful staff, relaxing atmosphere, and great restaurant near the center...

I recently stayed at Coco palms on a short but well planed trip to Costa Rica and was beyond pleased with the warm and attentive hospitality received at this one of a kind hotel. I traveled with my husband and a friend. We were there for 5 days and with so much to do in Costa Rica we decided to...

Loved the Hotel so much for a week in December, came back in February for a month! Going back in April for another month...what can I say...fell in love with Costa Rica. With Coco being so close to the airport ...you can't beat the location. I used Coco as a home base, as I traveled down the coast of Costa...

We were passing through Playas del Cocos and booked a one-night stay here and showed up around check in time at 4 pm. After waiting in line for a few minutes the front desk told us that the hotel was full and they had just given away the last room to the couple standing in front of us in line!...

When I arrived and saw the guard with the gun infront of the building and the football field right opposite, I thought it is a warzone, then I realized there was a 24 hour supermarket. I met Paula at the front desk who give me my keys and a remote. I stuggled with my suitcase up the stairs where the...

When we arrived from the airport by about 9:30 pm we checked in with no problem; the staff was pleasant and efficient. I was quite disappointed, however, with our room which was located right next to the check in desk. We had booked over the internet, well in advance, a 12 day stay. It was dim, stuffy, looked into the...

Dont stay here unless you are stone deaf or bring industrial strength ear plugs. The laughing, loud talking, and door banging echo all hours of the day and night, It is a literal minute walk from the beach. Beach is so-so. Clean but the water brown with sand. A short block to all the shops and places to eat. Made...

This place has charm and Costa Rican character. Prices are fair, the restaurant food is good and the staff is quite helpful. The rooms can be a little noisy due to the pool crowd and late restaurant crowd as well as its proximity to the town. However, it's centrally located if you plan on traveling anywhere else in the western...
