My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here, the bungalow was great, it had a massive bed and loads of space. The outside patio was great with a comfy sofa and nice bathroom area. The shower is outside in the garden which is great. you are given a choice of breakfast, traditional or yoghurt with granola. Both are good and set you up nicely for the day ahead. Sophie our host was very helpful when we organised transfers to our next hotel and made us coffee and tea when we wanted. I had read on other reviews doubts about security but we found the place to be very safe. There is a safe in the room and also a security man on duty all night. We did t have a car which made things more difficult (going out to eat) but used the free bikes in the day to cycle to the beach. would highly recommend

Our stay here was perfection. It is glamping at its finest, and if you have't experienced a tent/yurt stay this is the place to do it. Comfortable beds, open air, beautiful breezes and a quiet private lounge area. Outside showers are GLORIOUS! Sophie and Nico are fabulous hosts, the place is beautiful, the pool and lounge area creates a perfect holiday vibe. The pool was a lovely place to chill with a beverage and the coffee and breakfasts were A++. They set us up with a wonderful surf instructor who took us to a locals only beach which was fantastic. Great place, great people...don't miss out.

The weekend was amazing, you must stay here for a couple days to reset the feelings and release your best part with such a nice little place. Try to experience a nature shower inside your patio space and take an amazing shower looking the bright stars with a clear sky! There is no words to express how comfortable I feel in this nice piece of land in Playa Grande. This place should deserve a five star award in the Glamping community around the world without a dude I say!!!!

We stayed at Flor Y Bambu for 3 nights. The place absolutely amazing! The hosts Sophie and Nicholas are so gracious, generous, and kind. The place is divine, and put together very thoughtfully with careful attention to detail that makes the stay so delightful. The tents are lovely and very comfortable. Be sure take bug/mosquito spray as you will definitely need it in the evenings. The tents need to closed to keep mosquitoes out during the evening times. The breafasts are so amazing -- we loved the shakes/juices. We are vegetarian/vegan family and they put together awesome and completely filling breakfasts each day! The pool is nice which my children used. It is a truly unique experience and we loved it

Without a doubt the nicest hosts i’ve ever ecounteret on a holiday. We felt so welcome, and loved the tents we slept in. Haven’t tried anything like it and hope to come back. A beatiful place. 15 mins walk from the Beach or a 2 minute drive.

Visited here with my husband and son and stayed in a cabin. The grounds are beautiful and the owners are very sweet and accommodating. They also serve a wonderful breakfast to order. This is a great place to come to relax. You will need a car - the beach and restaurants are about a 25 minute walk along the side of the road. Only recommendation for the owners is to stock with beer/ water - I have been to similar places that do this and use the honor system for tracking what guests owe.

We have just spend a night there. It has been amazing!! Soo beautiful, so quiet, so clean, so good taste in every. The rooms are between a marvellous tropical garden. The owners are super nice. You have to come to live this place!

My wife and I stayed here during the Semana Santa. It was a HOT week, yet we were delightfully comfortable in our well ventilated "Tent". Privacy was never a concern either - the landscaping was well planned to provide natural barriers throughout the property. Also included in our stay was breakfast. The graciously hospitable owners themselves made it for us every morning. Delicious, nutritious, and a perfect size to keep us satiated until lunch.

It's very sad to write this review, because the hotel is so awesome and cool, and the owner is wonderful, but I feel I need to warn fellow travelers, because I would have liked to be warned before going here. Unfortunately, this place is really dangerous right now. In the middle of the night, while we were sleeping, someone BROKE INTO OUR TENT AND TOOK SOME OF OUR BELONGINGS. Imagining that someone was able to open our tent and walked around inside our tent while we were sleeping is just too scary and disturbing. So many things could have happened.... Thanks God it was just a robbery and they only took my cellphone and a pair of sunglasses. I left the phone next to me in the bed charging and the thief took it, our wallets were in the safe so they were not stolen. But my girlfriend and I were there, sleeping when the robbery happened, it's crazy that so many things could have gone wrong with this thief breaking into our tent in the middle of the night. There was another guest (father and child) in the hotel that night and they experienced the same horrible situation, they got robbed by someone who entered their tent while they were sleeping. By they way they did the robbery (they covered the external light of the tent with one of our towels for example), it's clear that the thief is very familiar with the hotel and the tents. Moreover, we still can't understand how we didn't notice the thief when he entered and walked around our tent, we are not heavy sleepers, we should had heard him. And the other guest in the other tent didn't notice as well, scary! The owner was very shocked and nervous about this. She was very generous by refunding our money for the night already paid, and there's not really much she could do. It's very sad to see her having to deal with this insecurity. The hotel is beautiful, the tents are amazing, everything is so clean and nice, breakfast is great, but, unfortunately, I highly recommend you not to come here until the safety issue is resolved, because this is extremely dangerous. We went to the OIJ (national criminal department) to report the robbery and they told us they have received lately several claims from victims in this hotel, so is something that it's going on frequently. So sad, but seriously dangerous and shocking. I hope they are able to resolve the situation soon and find these thieves.

We stayed here for 3 nights and couldn’t have loved it more. Nicholas was so accommodating and made us feel so at home. We wish we could have stayed longer! The beaches near by are gorgeous and are a must see!
