Do not pay extra for the ocean view villas as they only air condition the bedroom, have no TV or WiFi, and not much of a view. Getting the all-inclusive while you are there is a good idea as there is very little in the town of Samara.

I am staying at this hotel right now as part of a Costa Rica Monkey Tours tour. If you are on one of their tours you probably don't have a choice, but if you are an independent traveller avoid this place. The beach is OK, the location is good, but as far as room comfort or customer service - they...

Hotel pool is steps from the beach and has great music and a swim up bar. The villas are a tiny bit dated but overall very nice and spacious. Staff is very helpful setting up any activities you want to do in the area. There's a spa onsite with great massage options. I heard a lot about other options close...

Booked the room after finding it via Expedia.com. The facility is under the process of redevelopment and renovation. There are new rooms under construction at this time. The people are absolutely wonderful here. There are a few quirks of a destination facility such as their strong desire to keep the visitor on property and conduction activities through their organization. We...

We stayed at this hotel with a group of 12 people. 2 rooms flooded from plumbing issues. 2 of the people in our group had to switch rooms THREE times. 1 room had no curtains. The rooms are bare and a huge let down, a simple dresser would add so much life to the rooms. Our room had a massive...

This resort is absolutely a must if your planning to go to the south guanacaste area. Me and my girlfriend rented a car from Playa Nosara and drove all the way south to Playa Santa Teresa. We got to Villas Playa Samara late around 10pm as walk ins and we got amazing service from the start. Good employees and easy...

We spent some time in this hotel some days ago and we had a great time. The hotel is beautiful, with excellent villas the were recently redone. Service is good, food is nice and the beach is so closed you can hear the waves all night long. We had a critical mother nature situation during our stay when a neighbor´s...
