I've stayed in Samara before but this time there would be 4 compared to the usual two. Knowing the area and having researched numerous places before, I decided on the Tico Adventure Lodge. My 2 grandchildren (7 and 11) and my daughter and I just loved our Poolside room . It was just perfect. separate rooms each with their own...

It's a wonderful place in samara. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are very clean and you have a wonderful balcony with hammocks to relax! There is a Rancho where you can cook or just sit and have a coffee (drink as much coffee as you want-it is included in the price), you are close to everything (supermarket 2...

We booked for 3 days and ended up staying a week in the studio apartment that has a little kitchenette. The lodge also has a communal kitchen that I was able to gather some things for cooking with. The lodge has a great little pool that is just the thing in the afternoon when it was too hot for us...

Stayed here for a few days after my family stay in Samara during my Spanish course at the Intercultura language school. I needed some luxury after spending weeks in the sweltering and rather rustic room full of cockroaches at the house of the family I stayed at during those weeks. I booked one of the cheaper rooms at the Tico...

Beautiful and comfortable! We stayed for three nights while we found a house to rent for long term. The pool is cool and shaded to give you nice break from the sun. My kids loved it. The beach is a short walk away. Grocery stores are nearby (I recommend Pali) and the outdoor community kitchen is very convenient. Eating out...

We (fam. of 5) visited Costa Rica for the first time and stayed in Samara for three weeks at Tico Adventure Lodge in the tree top house. We had a beautiful time, beautiful apartment with plenty of outside space tot sit and cool off. With the kids in the pool around midday, you can keep an eye on them and...

Rico Adventure Lodge is a good stay with very friendly and helpful staff and clean rooms. It's located at the street, therefore our room was quite noisy. But the value for money was ok, we can recommend it.

Tico Adventure Lodge affords a balance for travel in Samara. Located on the western edge of Samara, one is close enough to walk to the beach (5-10 minutes) or wander the town, yet is far enough away from the action to provide a tranquil setting for napping, reading, or reflecting. Should you wish to save a little money and cook...

We stayed in one of the rooms.(I think 4... it is upstairs and off the main road) I wish we would have upgraded to a suite or apartment. The room was CHEAP, but small. it had a nice deck though with some cool iguanas hanging out. The bed was not too comfy though. And ants, ants, ants... DO NOT EAT...

My husband and I stayed for five nights. Great location, only a few blocks to the beach. No parking, but the car was safe on the street out front. The WiFi did not work in our room, but worked on our balcony, was just pretty slow. Great pool! Awesome three legged dog who loves to walk with guests to the...
