I agree with what most reviewers have to say about the beautiful property and helpfulness of Gary and Jolene. Unfortunately, the roads to access the property are not paved and are very uneven. They also become quite muddy in the rain. We also had an issue with ants, but I guess some problems come with staying in a jungle. The...

The design of this property is breathtaking. Every detail and every angle is worth a 1000 photos! Jolene & Gary's warm and welcoming nature made the experience of our vacation complete. Without their open hearts we would have had an entirely different experience. Special thanks to Shadow, Frida & Ginger, an extension of the family and Maria and her crew...

From the moment you enter the wonderful courtyard and see the inviting pool, beautiful landscaping and relaxing terrace area, you will feel a sense of relaxation. And once you've seen your amazing casita, you'll know you've made the perfect decision for your accommodation requirements. Gary & Jolene are wonderful people and the absolutely best hosts you could have. Breakfasts aren’t...

We stayed at the Villa Andalucía for three days before the rest of our family arrived in Tamarindo. Since it was our first trip to Tamarindo, Gary gave us a tour of the town the day we arrived. Jolene and Gary were the most gracious hosts, obviously they know how to run a B & B. Our room was fantastic,...

John and Laima we loved having you stay with us, even if only a couple days before the rest of your family arrived. You two were absolutely lovely and our only regret was that you did not get to stay with us for your entire vacation. Wishing you both the best back home. Jolene, Gary and the crew at Villa...

What a great get away walking distance to local shops, beach and restaurants. Gary and Jolene really know how to run a great bed and breakfast! We stayed in the suite with a kitchenette on the pool side of the property and just loved it. Id highly recommend this place if you are planning a trip to Tamarindo!

This is our second time staying at Villa Andalucia. We knew after our first trip in 2015, we would be back as we enjoyed our stay so much. The rooms and casitas are all individually decorated and they are amazing. We had one of the rooms in the house on this trip. Our room had everything we could need. From...

This truly is a distinctive bed and breakfast. Our stay at this charming villa was most enjoyable and relaxing. The owners, Gary and Jolene, are very hospitable, as well as informative. We were briefed on all the restaurants, sights, adventures, and "local color" in the area. Tamarindo, itself, is a busy town. It was nice to enjoy the amenities of...

Villa Andalucía is a Spanish Colonial Bed and Breakfast in Tamarindo. We specialize in romantic stays, personalized attention and delicious food. We are a family run business and it is our mission to give you an exceptional stay at a great price. We have two private Casitas and two deluxe Suites in the main house available. This romantic getaway was inspired by the classic Colonial Homes of Spain and Antigua Guatemala. We are located in a private, quiet neighborhood of Tamarindo close enough to everything but far enough away from the noise and bustle of Tamarindo. Villa Andalucía is a 5 minute walk or a quick bike ride to shopping, restaurants, and the beautiful white sand beach of Tamarindo. A delicious breakfast is served Monday-Friday made by Maria. There is maid service everyday except Sundays. We have an onsite staff to assist you with tours and restaurant recommendations and reservations. Transportation to and from the Liberia airport can also be arranged by us. We hope to have you as our guest soon and please email me if you have any questions. ... more   less
