Villa Andalucía is a Spanish Colonial Bed and Breakfast in Tamarindo. We specialize in romantic stays, personalized attention and delicious food. We are a family run business and it is our mission to give you an exceptional stay at a great price. We have two private Casitas and two deluxe Suites in the main house available. This romantic getaway was inspired by the classic Colonial Homes of Spain and Antigua Guatemala. We are located in a private, quiet neighborhood of Tamarindo close enough to everything but far enough away from the noise and bustle of Tamarindo. Villa Andalucía is a 5 minute walk or a quick bike ride to shopping, restaurants, and the beautiful white sand beach of Tamarindo. A delicious breakfast is served Monday-Friday made by Maria. There is maid service everyday except Sundays. We have an onsite staff to assist you with tours and restaurant recommendations and reservations. Transportation to and from the Liberia airport can also be arranged by us. We hope to have you as our guest soon and please email me if you have any questions.

Gary & Jolene have curated an incredible experience between their beautiful & quiet 4 bedroom villa, and the grade A breakfasts they provided each morning. Their support staff were thorough every single day so the property was always pristine. The salt water pool was lovely & hammocks/quiet areas allow for relaxation after busy nights out. It is a less than 5 minute walk to the beach, and even closer are amazing restaurants and essentials like groceries. 10/10 would recommend booking your stay in Tamarindo here.

Villa Andalucia has a rustic charm. In the high walled yard with lush established plants around a beautiful pool one feels as if you are in a tropical paradise. We were in the smaller downstairs bedroom with an adjacent outside patio. There also two larger upstairs casitas which are roomier. Owners Gary and Joline are most engaging hosts, offering and arranging all sorts of adventures in the Tamarindo area. Delicious breakfast is provided Monday through Friday. We would definitely stay at VillaAndalucia on a return visit.

We returned from our stay at Villa Andalucia last week and can't wait to return. It was our first trip to Costa Rica and this place was the highlight of our vacation. It is so beautiful and serene. All our needs were anticipated and met with over the top service. Jolene was so helpful and answered all our questions prior to our stay and arranged all our airport transportation and requirements for returning to the US. Their tour recommendations were absolutely wonderful and made seeing the sights, unique places, and wildlife easy and safe. Gary was a perfect host, and was present, friendly, and helpful anytime we were at the Villa. We stumbled on this gem not knowing anything about where to go or stay in Costa Rica and couldn't be happier with our decision.

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon in the Casita Sevilla. We loved every minute of it. Gary and Jolene are incredible hosts; they welcomed us when we got in with lovely conversation and a cold beer on a hot day, a perfect start to the trip! The casita itself is private and very large, with a huge bed and many different sitting areas. Our favorite was the private backyard with hammocks and a covered sitting area (theres a real word for this that I keep forgetting!). This Casita is slightly detached from teh main house, making it perfect for those that want privacy! There is a separate entrance about 20 feet down to the main house where there is a beautiful pool with Spanish tile, great for relaxing and reading. We also met many other couples on the trip sitting around the pool which was so great. We felt like we belonged in this community and have Gary and Jolene to thank for that! As far as location goes, it is perfect. It's about 5 minutes into town and 10 to the beach, walking along a very safe street. We felt comfortable coming and going at all hours and some of our favorite spots to eat were very close to the house (Dragonfly and Green Papaya). The best part was the hospitality though; Gary and Jolene will regal you with stories and conversations about Tamarindo, Costa Rica, their journey here and more. They were amazing to get to know and to talk to, and when we needed a ride to Tamarindo airport early in the morning, Gary drove us without hesititation. When we needed help finding a reliable ride in San Jose, Jolene connected us with the driver they use! It really took away and all stress we could have had. We cannot wait to come back here again! -Sam and Laura

Villa Andalucia is a treasure in Tamarindo. A short walk from everything, the lodging is top notch, the room was beautifully decorated, has everything you need and is quiet away from the noise in town. Gary and Jolene are great hosts who will give you recommendations on everything from tours to places to eat and will call ahead of you prefer as they have connections all over the area. Maria made us amazing breakfast every day and they accommodated to my dairy allergy. We've stayed in several bed and breakfasts over the years and this is one of the best!

I can't say enough about our stay! The property was a great place to relax and take a dip in the pool. Jolene and Gary were incredible hosts. They gave us a tour of the town and offered lots of recommendations of tours, restaurants and even a masseuse (who comes to the villa and highly recommend). Morning breakfasts by Maria were 'to die for' and changed daily. The location was close enough to walk/bike to everything in Tamarindo yet far enough from the hustle and bustle of the town. Thoroughly enjoyed biking around and to the beach as well as going to the local day and evening markets. I plan on going back and I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did.

Our room was spacious, private, super-clean and comfortable. Morning breakfasts by Maria were 'to die for' and Jolene and Gary were amazing hosts offering great tips on tours and restaurants. The location is close enough to everything in Tamarindo / Langosta Beach to walk to, and just far enough away to escape the hustle & bustle of the strip. We were honestly sad to leave when our week was up and we were headed for another week at an All Inclusive (not complaining or saying that was bad, but you'll understand after you stay here). We would stay here again and will recommend it to anyone going to Tamarindo.

Just finished early December our 4th stay at Villa Andalucia. It was exceptional as always. The breakfasts prepared by Maria were a delicious treat everyday. Lounging by the dipping pool after a beach day was splendid. The Hosts Gary and Jolene are amazing hosts who so contribute to the magical stay.

This B n B has it all! The whole house and grounds have so much charm. Our room was very comfortable and had everything you could think of. The 2 breakfasts we had were delicious pancake Monday and typical Tico Tuesday aka eggs, plantains, cheese, fruit, rice and beans. Jolene and Gary were very helpful with advice about the area and recommendations. We appreciated all the insider information. The location is fantastic. Close enough to the action to walk without being close enough to hear it at night. Would love to visit them again!

From the moment we arrived at Villa Andalucia, we were treated like royalty. Gary's fabulous Tamarindo tour prepared us for the incredible week ahead. Our casita was devine - beautifully appointed and super comfortable. Jolene is a decorating genius! The bed and linens were deluxe and our showers were always hot! I can't say enough about our hosts and this property. We enjoyed the grounds including the salt water pool and outdoor space for evening gatherings with other guests. The weekday breakfasts were prepared by the wonderful Maria, and served with pride and everything was delicious! We loved the location - only 5 minutes for groceries and excellent restaurants and 8 minutes to the pristine beaches of Tamarindo! Being off the beaten path and main strip offered incredible privacy and quiet. Bicycles, beach chairs, coolers and umbrellas were available to all guests. Get ready to be spoiled in luxury - all you need to do is show up!
