We had an amazing time ! The staff was friendly and the food at breakfast and dinner was delicious ! The grounds are spectacular ! They are located off of the main road and have a private beach area with pool .
A tiny slice of heaven nestled in Tamarindo. Only stayed one night to cap off a week at surf camp, but can’t say enough good things. This is top level service. Clean, modern rooms (we stayed in a romantic terrace) and ours had a private patio with jacuzzi. Pool cabanas a perfect place to nap, food and drinks were elegant and satisfying (especially breakfast — still dreaming about it) and the private beach club is a nice bonus. Next time, we will definitely stay longer.
We just returned from 8 beautiful days at the incredible Hotel Jardín del Edén. The property is stunning - the gardens are lush, beautifully kept, and full of birds, butterflies, and iguanas. The pools and beach garden are beautiful and the gourmet food is delicious. The whole property is a feast for the senses. But even better than that is the staff. Our friends Endy, Nathaly, Gerald, and all the rest of the staff treated us like family and we were so sad to say goodbye to all of our friends. The staff is so genuinely warm and kind and will go out of their way to make sure you have everything you could ever want and more. Costa Ricans are the most beautiful souls we have encountered in the whole world. We left a piece of our hearts in Tamarindo and cannot wait to return to Hotel Jardín del Edén as soon as possible.…
Quiet sanctuary to relax from everyday life. Hotel for adults who want activities that are close to the action but also looking for seclusion. Extremely nice staff, fantastic food and particularly beautiful rooms with breathtaking views.
This place lives up to its name. The grounds, rooms, service, location and the people make this place fabulous. Period. I highly recommend it to anyone. And if you have kids try their sister property across the street.
I booked based on a recommendation from an acquaintance coupled with the hundreds of amazing reviews here on TripAdvisor. I don't fully agree with most people's assessment. What I loved: boutique hotel (don't like big resorts), exceptionally lush and beautiful grounds, easy access to private beach area via lovely path, bar service at beach, low-key vibe, bountiful breakfast buffet, gourmet dinners (except one we did not like.) Our balcony had a huge outdoor bed with curtains where we could relax and enjoy the air and garden view (more about the view below.) Staff is friendly and attentive, as was our experience throughout Costa Rica. What I did not like: Rooms are sparse and poorly decorated. Bedding and towels not plush - blanket in the closet seemed old. Facility overall could be better maintained - areas of tile looked like they needed a good scrubbing. What bothered me the most: I asked on check-in whether I was getting the exact room I booked - Romantic Ocean View - and was informed that I was not. There was a mistake or double booking or something. The room we got was bigger and had the aforementioned outdoor bed, but no ocean view. This was a tradeoff and not a horrible one, but what upset me most was that had I not asked, nobody was going to tell me I did not get the room I booked. (I would have figured it out.) We had stayed in a top notch boutique hotel in Arenal prior to this, so the bar was VERY high. Jardin del Eden is a good value for the price, a lovely place to stay, but it is not a 4 or 5 star for me.…
A beautiful setting for this hotel and the grounds are so well kept it is a literal garden of eden. The word breathtaking comes to mind when thinking about how lovely and picturesque the entire property is. Staff is attentive and friendly. Room was large and spacious and immaculate as was the bathroom. I really enjoyed the path to and from the beach and looked forward to walking it. All good here!
Jardin del Eden is a small boutique hotel off the beach that is beyond my imagination. Granted, it was my honeymoon but the place was fantastic, The grounds, pool, food and location exceeded all expectations. What made our stay all the more memorable was the staff - they were so kind and welcoming - always there with a smile and a hand to help no matter how big or small, I want to thank Richard, Natasha, Nancy and Gerald for there smile and warm attention. When it is anniversary time, we know where we will going.
A beautiful hotel with very welcoming and efficient staff. Grounds superbly looked after, gardens gorgeous. Delicious and beautifully presented food. Nothing too much trouble. Lovely distant views if the sea. Walk down a path, cross the road and into private beach garden, with sun loungers, grass, a small pool, bar, loos and gate into the beach. Rooms really lovely, spacious and clean. Breakfast and dinner included in the price. Excellent choice for dinner and breakfast. Tamarindo and real seaside place and buzzing with life. We had a trip through the mangroves which was amazing. We flew back to San Jose to fly home. Throughly recommend this hotel. A fabulous place to end our holiday. It was hot and humid though! Thank you all
This hotel es bueno. Costa Rica es bueno. 5 stars, rooms are awesome, no kids, amazing views, no kids, staff is the most professional and personable and no kids lol. Yes I’ve had a few drinks prior to this review, but on purpose. Because this place is great. I don’t know what day it is or what i need to do next because that’s how they roll at Jardin Del Eden. Pura Vida!! Be warned! There are a lot of stairs. Our room was in the main building with the ocean view so we had to go up the stairs (from the dining room and pool) to the main reception and then up another flight of stairs to the room. No elevator. There is a walkway down to the street where you can go out adventuring into the town or continue across the street to the private garden beach view. There is a private area with lounge chairs and a bar. You can also order food from the kitchen. From there there is a small gate to the beach. Be advised, the walk back to the hotel is somehow longer than the walk down lol. Speaking of food, it is awesome. Breakfast and dinner included. Gourmet dinners. Breakfast bar with a person there who can make you eggs or an omelet or a waffle if you want something hot. August is winter here, or the “wet season”, but it really wasn’t that bad. Some scattered showers a couple of the afternoons. Although yesterday we did have a torrential downpour.…
