Spectacular facility and spa. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable, and that spa…..fabulous! Located near a variety of activities that several of our group enjoyed. Would recommend this location any day!
Pura Vida!!! Costa Rica owes me nothing!!! And I'll certainly be back!!! LADE was absolutely gorgeous! Every detail on the property was exquisite! I especially loved my outdoor shower. The staff, room, kitchen and spa, were incredibly hospitable. We lacked nothing! They saw to our every need! And the food...a feast for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The chef and her staff were amazing! If you stay, your must partake of the spa services! I would've paid double and still tipped generously. The ambience is so relaxing, refreshing and rejuvenating. My masseuse was so thorough!!! I can't wait to come back to LADE and bring more of my family and friends to have this experience of a lifetime!!!
We absolutely loved everything about this Boutique Hotel! The rooms were very comfortable and very clean. The staff was so friendly and always there ready to help you with planning an excursion, helping you get ready by preparing towels and a travel bag to go with you, serving you up their delicious drinks or helping you find whatever you need in town. The list goes on and on. Then there was the chef and his staff. They prepared us the absolute best meals every time! From the elaborate breakfasts, delicious lunches and then out of this world dinners! Eat here for dinner every night, you will not be disappointed! This hotel has it's own spa where we found the best massages we have had in so long. If you travel here make sure you book at least one massage while you are there. They also have baths and a jacuzzi that tends to run a little too hot. also you get to wake up to the monkeys that are all around! So special hearing and watching them. They also have a great outdoor workout space, a net you can go to and watch the beautiful sunsets and enjoy a glass of wine. They have a yoga studio and you can either do your own thing or ask for a yoga instructor, she was wonderful as well.…
One of the best vacations I’ve experienced! Not if, but when you go…you must do as many meals at the resort as possible. All, 5 Star meals, the best staff…the most friendly we’ve ever had take care of us!!! Can’t wait to go again. Best 90 minute massage I’ve ever had. Go…you won’t be disappointed.
Me and my sister in law decided to try out the spa and it was absolutely incredible. We both did the day spa pass and each had a massage, facial, and Indonesian soaking tub. At the end they served us the most amazing lunch with a glass of wine and fresh smoothie. Definitely would recommend this to anyone!
We stayed at Los Altos for our honeymoon, and could not have selected a better hotel. The hotel is beautiful and the view is even better! We enjoyed some time at the spa which was the best spa experience we have ever had. The hotel staff is welcoming and accommodating - offering transportation to/from tamarindo and other locations. The food is so delicious that we ended up eating most of our meals at the hotel! Enrique, Monica, and Ari are very kind and really treat you like family. We can’t wait to come back soon!
My husband and I spent 3 nights in the poolside King room. It was a cozy room but being poolside, it didn’t have much privacy. There was only one other couple staying there at the same time as us which was nice as it made that less of an issue. We had a massage at the spa that was very relaxing and we also made use of the sauna and jacuzzi as they are complimentary for hotel guests. All staff at the resort were very friendly and kind. My husband and I did a cooking class with the Chef, which was fun. We are excited to try out the ceviche recipe at home. We made use of the gym area in the mornings and loved laying on the giant canopy. The view is great and it’s a fun spot to hang with the howler monkeys. Overall, we loved our stay and will definitely be back. My only gripe is the communal dining. Since it’s a small property, there are only so many areas to get away from the other guests there so if you don’t vibe with them, it can be difficult to get away. There was only one other couple there at the time, but the girl got completely wasted at the first dinner and wouldn’t stop talking and repeating her stories the entire dinner (which we also got to hear at breakfast and other meals again and again). We dreaded having to go eat with them again at every meal. It would be nicer to have a couple smaller tables set up rather than the one communal table for eating (unless it’s a resort buy-out).…
We came with friends to celebrate our shared anniversary date. It is a small resort which offers plenty of individualized attention. They have an excellent chef who prepared delicious meals using fresh and local ingredients. The spa is amazing. They offer many different types of services and packages. The spa should be your first stop for total relaxation. They have a couples sunset massage, followed by Champagne and a soak in the hot tub. After this, we had a private, special dinner. The spa is open air and you enjoy a spectacular view while being pampered. You must do this! Another open area has exercise equipment and yoga or Pilates classes can be arranged. The resort provided transportation to any excursions. Anything you may want to drink with your meals is available. The beach and the city of Camarindo were about 30” away. We also went to a nature preserve and botanic garden that offered zip lining, ATV riding, hikes and the beach. English speaking guides were available at the animal exhibits. If you just decided to stay at the resort and do nothing else, you would have an enjoyable time. The staff was so thoughtful and helpful. We will definitely return! ATV riding…
First trip to Costa Rica and just returned from a week long stay at Los Altos de Eros and it was amazing. This boutique hotel is not only in a beautiful location it also has excellent service and is extremely accommodating. The pictures don't do it justice! The vibe is very relaxing and peaceful and perfect place if you want to relax. Connected to the hotel is a spa which was first rate and would highly recommend the 90 minute massage as part of a half day spa package. If you need a bit more action there is a readily available free shuttle to take you to Tamarindo or local beaches which are stunning. Food prepared by staff on site is delicious and fresh and again, very accomodating to individual preferences. Can't say enough and will definitely be back.
I started with a couples sunset massage and dinner package for my husband's bday--- We decided to make a trip of it and spent the entire day being spoiled by the staff poolside and slept in a beautifully appointed suite complete with outdoor shower - From the moment we arrived, Ari was most helpful in making us feel welcome and gave us a tour of this hidden paradise location. The massages were AMAZING - A M A Z I N G ....and our private- romantic sunset dinner was delicious. Every dish was even better than the last , we didn't want it to end. Chef Javier is another hidden gem they offer !! Thank you Enrique for welcoming us so warmly -your hotel is special, immaculate and unforgettable. As your brochures say... "it's not IF we will return, it is WHEN we will return"
