Upon arrival, we entered through a set of iron gates into our own little slice of paradise. The lush landscaping enshrouded the walkway and large courtyard with tiled pool. Immediately one felt relaxed, quiet. The manager, Wally greeted us with a smile that said "what can I do for you?" and he and his staff lived up to this every...

I really enjoyed my stay at the Tamarindo Yam. Great service from Wally and everyone else. Small boutique hotel, with relaxing pool and courtyard. You can relax on a quiet evening, or easily walk to the beach or downtown restaurants and bars. Very clean rooms, reasonable pricing, and good people to match!

Only stayed 1 night at Tamarindo Yam, but had a great experience. The manager, Wally, was very accommodating and the room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. A little off the beaten path, but I highly recommend staying here.

Upstairs was a loft bedroom with a walk in closet/room for luggage and another full bath. Full kitchen with coffee and filters provided. We have two teenagers and the room provided plenty of privacy for my husband and me. Mattresses were wonderful- very...

Just got back to our home in Tucson and are already missing the Tamarindo Yam. It was quiet and secluded but was within walking distance to the Super 2001 (local store), Sharky's Sports bar, restaurants and the beach. Its has a great mom and pop feel to it and the management was always delighted to help us. The first morning...
