We visited TRR with our three children(6, 7 and 10). They loved meeting the baby sloths and watching them interact with each other! We also loved that the sloths would be released back into the wild! The animals all seemed well taken care of and loved. The breakfast was good, but limited, and we were glad we fed the kids...

The Toucan Rescue Ranch is an experience that teaches visitors about respect for wildlife in Costa Rica. It is a great place to take families to see animals up close. You will learn about why animals and birds need to be rescued and how their release program is getting some of them back into the jungle when possible. Your donation...

Our family of five (kids ages 9, 8, and 4) stopped at Toucan Rescue Ranch they day before we headed for a week in the Osa Peninsula. I’m so glad we went there first because we learned so much about the animals and after hearing the calls of toucans, we were able to spot them in the wild much easier....

This was the most informative and well-run sanctuaries we have seen. Very impressive staff, facilities, and operation. Also very impressed at the number of volunteers from the States were assisting. We were introduced to not only toucans but monkeys, sloths, parrots, as well as a variety of other rescue animals.

I hate that I'm only now writing this review. My two best friends and I visited the Toucan Rescue Ranch in the fall of 2015. We stayed on the property in their small (extremely clean) guest house and had breakfasts with the Sloths first thing the next morning! The owners/managers are extremely kind and very accommodating. Leslie gave us a...

Although this began as a toucan rescue ranch and there are many toucans, the height of the visits is seeing the baby sloths from 3 months to 2 1/2 year. We had a 2 hour tour for $38. It begins with background by Pedro, a Costa Rican who has been there for a year, and a video on the founder...

Leslie and Zara thank you for an amazing educational tour of your LIFE WORK! What a gift you are, as well the entire staff and volunteers. Because of your love knowledge and compassion you help to free the spirits of many trapped and injured animals in Costa Rica. Thank you for all you do! Namaste'

We visited here in March and chose the Breakfast with Babies and tour. It meant an early start but it was worth every minute. After a delicious breakfast the sloth babies join you in their tubs and are fed while you watch. It's wonderful to see them close up and hear about the work that this organisation does to further...

A great trip out, for $35 you get a 2 hour tour, which ours went over. We were welcomed warmly by the staff and shown to a seating area where they start with a brief overview of the history of the ranch, they then take you around to see the different animals they have and explain their history and their...

Want to see and learn tons about local wildlife? This the BEST place to do it! See toucans, baby and adult sloths, macaws, owls, monkeys, porcupines, and more! With the added bonus of donating and helping rescue and rehab these wonderful creatures! Learning about the release program was even cooler when we got to our final destination, Tulemar in Manuel...
