I had a 2:00 tour with the rescue ranch and was going to miss it due to picking up my rental car. I called and they were ever so gracious to let me in when I finally arrived at 3:00. Even though I missed half the tour, I was still able to see many animals and learn about their conservation efforts. The sloths were very active, and the birds, monkeys and others were a delight to behold. The tour guides, especially Isaac, are so informative and so passionate about what they do, it is definitely worth visiting. It mad my first few hectic hours in Costa Rica so worth it. Can’t wait to visit again

If you love animals you must go to this place. Just visiting you would help wild life. This is not a zoo is a place to protect, rescue and/or release animals who has been in troubles. The staff loves what they do. The place is completely clean. Is like a circuit where you can see the animals, you don't have to walk a lot, it's more to appreciate the wild life that is in rehab. The terrain is flat and safe for all ages.

Toucan Rescue is a wonderful facility. They do very important work in rescuing and rehabilitation of birds and animals to hopefully return to the wild. We learned a lot about the animals and the efforts made to help them. We had a wonderful morning seeing the animals and talking to the animal specialis. Millie the sloth was enchanting and so fun to watch. I highly recommend this tour

What an amazing place and experience. The Toucan Rescue ranch does amazing things. It was so great to learn about their program and all of the stuff they do to rescue all kinds of animals. We booked the "Slothies and Coffees" tour. We got pastries, fruit, smoothies, coffee to start. Learned about sloths and the rescue ranch. Then we got to observe 2 different sloths at a very close distance without the risk of touching them or them touching us. We asked a million questions and they were happy to answer all of them. After our time with the sloths, we walked around the grounds and saw a lot of animals that have not been able to be released back into the wild. We learned all about them. It was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!
