You want to support this place, and to see for yourself the great stuff they are doing. We stayed in the guest house, had "breakfast with the babies" and took a tour of the property. Leslie, her husband, and the entire staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Seeing that little baby sloth eat... words cannot describe the joy. The guest...

Had a great morning at Toucan Rescue Ranch. Nice breakfast and excellent guide Pedro. Watched the baby sloth feeding. Toured the ranch and got up close with the sloths. Personal small tour (4 people) highly recommended!

Congratulations to the owner and all the staff who are working so hard at this ranch to rehabilitate animals and if possible return them to the wild. We took the private tour and spent over 2 hours learning about the animals and how they are cared for. It was an afternoon to remember. Toucans , baby Sloths playing in the...

Thank you! It's hard work running a rescue center, but as you saw, totally worth it. Thank you for your support and we hope you come back to visit us again sometime soon!

This is a really special spot full of special volunteers doing really great work. Our two hour tour was incredible, Zara was so knowledgeable, funny, sweet and personable and we loved every minute. If you're going to Costa Rica this is a stop you don't want to miss. Go to the ranch, support what they do, learn a ton and...

We stayed one night in the guest cottage at the very beginning of our Costa Rican adventure. What a perfect way to start. After checking n to the cute, clean, and well maintained cottage we were free to wander around and explore. There are also plenty of taxis and Ubers available for a quick ride to grab a bite to...

We really appreciate your kind review and we're happy you had such a memorable and personal experience with us. It is extremely important to us that our guests feel like they've learned a lot, understand our mission and walk away with a big smile. Emma the otter is getting a new habitat! She's going to go otterly wild! Thank you...

We stayed here for 2 days and enjoyed it very much. The breakfast with the babies is fun as is the tour, apart from that you are free to wander wherever and whenever you like. We have visited one or two refuges here and there where we felt the animals were almost part of a business venture, but not so...

My boyfriend and I stayed in the guest cottage a week and a half ago. It was absolutely one of the coolest parts of our trip. Cottage: Spacious, clean, and lovely. It had a bunk bed, twin size bed, and a full size bed at the back of the cottage. The front of the cottage consisted of a kitchen and...

We visited the Toucan Rescue Ranch on the second day of our trip and it could not be a better start! They are really lovely people who care a lot about the animals. You can see sloths, toucans, monkeys etc. But the wellbeing of the animals comes first. They have an impressive rehabilitation program for the wild animals. The animals...

We stayed one night in the sloth cottage and it was an unforgettable experience. We did the tour in the afternoon when we arrived and it was very informational and interesting. Getting to see the babies and learn more about the animals was definitely the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. Unfortunately our flight left to early to stay...

With only a 5 day stop over in Costa Rica this is one of the places we really wanted to see. It's well worth a visit and will appeal to adults and kids alike. The sanctuary really makes an effort with the local fauna - both endangered and abused - which was great to see. There is a wide variety...
