Stayed here for two weeks. Booking was slightly confusing. I tried to book online but never got any confirmation. When I got through on the telephone I was advised that its peak season and they would get back with confirmation - which they never did. Cahuita is a long way from San Juan and taxi rates are high. We paid... More

Maria, the manager, is great! Best spot on the beach and steps away from the national park. Staff is friendly and rooms are comfortable. Good internet connection downstairs and great food and drinks in the bar. The area is busy until 8pm each night then quiets down. Only the sound of wave outside. Great balcony. We spent a week here... More

Closest to the beach, to the park, easy walk to coffee, shops, restaurants, inexpensive, restaurant downstairs is good and quiet at night - all you can do is listen to the waves crashing. Upstairs corner room is the best. You can buy excellent pineapple and banana bread from the local guy on the main floor. No bugs, air conditioning and... More

Overlooking the scenic cahuita NP and beach, this place is at the entrance to the park and right on the beach. But our bed was uncomfortable and my wife thinks her bites came from bugs in the bed. Maintenance was also shabby and the place lacks the usual cozy common areas found elsewhere in CR. No ambience. On the plus... More

I've been going to hotel for over 10 years now. You cant get closer to the park and the beach in front is gorgeous. This is the hotel has: Clean rooms. Basic. Not 500 count bed sheets and smaller than full size towels. But comfortable nonetheless. Hot water (it takes a minute though). Excellent views and many places outside the... More

Hotel was on the brink of collaps, everything is falling apart, mould on ceilings and walls, leaking ceilings. My room was flooded with water after tropical rainstorm. Restaurant is very dark and uninviting. Better eat and drink something in the village that is 5 minutes walking distance. Hotel staff not friendly. Location is pertect, meters away from beach and national... More

There isn't a better place in the town of Cahuita for a view of the beach. Situated right at the entrance to Cahuita National Park, this informal beach restaurant is a comfortable place to stop no matter if you've just come from the beach and are in your most casual attire. The view is unsurpassed. The menu is typical food... More

The open air restaurant at the cahuita national park hotel is literally just a few meters from the beach where kelly creek enters the Caribbean Sea at the entrance to cahuita national park. It has an awesome view of the ocean and beach out towards cahuita point. The environs around the hotel and restaurant are very lush green with wavering... More

We keep going back, fabulous staff, great location, beautiful deck views, great food, clean a/c rooms. Just a great place ! Right on the park entrance close to all stores and restaurants. Listen to the waves crashing all night long. Great hotel with a bar and restaurant right on site.

Can't beat the price - a basic, clean room with an ocean view for $45U.S/night. Great location - at the entrance to the National Park and right on the beach! Several restaurants and a small grocery are within a block. Need to call to make a reservation. I could not reach them by email. My room had wifi early morning,... More
