Situated near the beach, we feel asleep to the sounds of the crashing waves and awoke to amazing coffee & homemade breakfasts. We stayed in the Casita for 8 nights. Michele was the perfect host making recommendations when asked and Zena the perfect companion for a walk on the beach. Casa Las Brisas is far enough from town to feel...

We were four and opted to try Casa Las Brisas since the apartment at Banana Azul wasn't available. The place accomodated our group perfectly on the second story. It is remote enough that you feel like you're on an adventure, close enough to the beach that the pounding surf puts you to sleep at night and the host is so...

I am late in posting this review, my husband and I stayed here in October of 2012 for only one night. I wished we had planned to stay longer but we were only stopping for the night on the way to Bocas del Toro. It was a perfect night. Michel provided us a complimentary bottle of wine since we were...

We had the good fortune to stay at the Casa Las Brisas in Puerto Viejo, CR. The host is phenomenal as is the property!!. Located on a beautiful sandy beach this property offers 2 great rooms above the main house but also a "Casita" (private cabin with full bath in front). We were fortunate enough to stay in the casita...

Going to sleep and awakening to the sound of the ocean pounding Playa Negra, or sitting on the second story deck and watching the waves, sunrise and sunset, breakfast on the beach from time to time, all are Casa Las Brisas experiences that refresh and renew one's spirit and body. I spent two weeks in the Spring of '13 enjoying...

Casa las Brisas is great because of its position on the beach far away from center of town and really relaxing. After Las Brisas there is no other building. The posibility to use the pool etc. from Banana Azul next door is really good. The only thing to improve maybe would be a bigger breakfast.

After checking in at Banana Azul I walked over to Casa Las Brisas and was welcomed by Michel. I was staying in the casita adjacent to the main house and was very impressed by the accommodations. For the single traveler and couples the casita is perfect. A simple bedroom and bathroom with ocean view. I will definitely be staying here...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Casa Las Brisas our whole time in Puerto Viejo, and I'm so happy we did! Michel is an amazing host, and knows where to eat, what to do, and when to do it. He was so personable, and really makes Casa Las Brisas a home away from home. His dog Zena is an amazing...

We originally tried to book 6 days at Banana Azul next door and it turned out that the first four days of our stay wound up here as they take overflow from BA when there is no availability. The nice thing is that any guest here has access to all the amenities next door. Well looking back now the experience...
