Casa del Arbol, superb experience in the middle of the rainforest. I spent 6 nights with my husband and 2 kids and was a lovely opportunity to be the 4 of us surrounded by nature. We woke up with the sound of the monkeys and crickets. Even if it rained for 3 days, our time there was fantastic! Marilyn and...

Our vacation staying at El Arbol was truly magical. Jan & Marjolein were such responsive and welcoming hosts from my first questions on line to when we sadly had to leave. They knew everyone locally and recommended the best restaurants and places to go and hired us the greatest boat captain to go snorkeling and dolphin watching. The house we...

I can honestly say that our stay at "El Arbol" was a weekend spent in paradise. From the moment that we arrived, Marjorie and Jan hosted us to our lovely house. They were very attentive and friendly. The house itself is intimate and feels like home, while being at the jungle at the same time. The view to the nature...

In the middle of the Jungle but still so close to the beach. I absolutely love all the jungle sounds and the surroundings. Extremely relaxing and the design of the lodges are really cool. I am certainly coming again soon.

I really struggled between average and poor and sadly had to go with poor. The good first - Location was brilliant as you are set away from the noise and traffic but still extremely close (with car) to get supplies or go to the beach. Monkeys (3 types) had a little passage through so we saw them often and the...

We booked the place for 3 nights. It is a house rental, not a B&B or hotel, so there is no daily cleaning or change of bedsheets or towel. So comparatively with all the other places where we stayed (often) for a lower price, (but where we had all those services including breakfast in some cases), it didn't feel as...

I stayed with a friend from Costa Rica and we had an amazing time. All you hear is the beautiful sounds of the tropical rainforest. Complete bliss! The cabins are stunning, the bed super comfy, the view pristine and distance to the beach is none. Totally recommended! Love that it features a kitchenette for those lazy evenings where you just...

Firstly El Arbol is set in the most amazing rain forest and it was a dream come true to see the amazing wildlife right on our door step. However when booking this experience you must remember you may be stepping out of...

My friend and I went to Costa Rica to celebrate my birthday and we had an absolute blast. It definitely felt like paradise with its gorgeous beaches, delicious food and friendly people. One of the highlights of our trip was staying in this gorgeous treehouse in the forest. The The hosts were sweet, fun and easy going. They gave us...

The Designer Jungle House was an absolutely magical place to spend our vacation in Costa Rica. Coming from Canada (where it is dry and freezing cold!), we welcomed the warm, damp climate of the jungle. Nestled back from the main road, the house is an oasis away from the hustle-and-bustle of Manzanillo, but close enough that you can walk there...
