I have stayed in these cabins for many years and have seen them improve every time. I love staying in them and recommend them to everyone who can climb stairs and wants to be super close to a beautiful beach. When I stayed in them this past January I was treated to a turtle laying eggs on the beach and...

This place is directly across the road (dirt road, zero traffic) from the most beautiful beach in the area. It's like your own little paradise. The cabins have everything you need and the manager is very attentive to your needs. The quality is much higher and the price is much lower than other accommodations in Puerto Viejo - Punta Uva.

An outstanding memory from my wonderful adventure in Costa Rica is my 5 day stay at El Caracol Azul. This quaint, private site with twin cottages is a perfect location for an extended stay. Just a stone throw from a private strip of pristine beach on the Caribbean Sea, you can sway in a hammock on the second floor balcony...

The 2-story construction, with the screened in sleeping quarters upstairs allows you to enjoy the cool Atlantic breezes throughout the day. I have been...

On several occasions most recently in December I spent several days at El Caracol Azul in Punta Uva. Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica. This is my favourite place on the Carribean and these cottages, for it is two cottages are my favourite place to stay.  Easy access to a great swimming spot (and the Carribea in my opinion is better swimming...

We had a great time at the "El Caracol Azul" cabins. The two cabins are Caribbean style and rustic but very clean and comfortable. The beach is just through the garden gate and is absolutely beautiful - perfect for kids and adults alike - with gentle sloping sand into the water and lots of shade to sit under and enjoy...
