The rooms here are all individual chalet style set in a forest surrounding. Our room had a large double bed,a single bed and a double bed which was reached by climbing a ladder in the middle of the room.No A/C but large ceiling fans kept the room reasonably cool. There was a hammock on the verandah to lounge in and watch the...

Great location, near to the beach. Fantastic rooms always kept really clean. Great service - they were quite happy for us to use their pool towels at the beach. Laundry service was prompt and efficient. Would definitely recommend hiring bikes.

Nice bungalows with 4 beds with mosquito nets and a veranda with hammock. We were lucky to have spotted 2 sloths just right in front of our bungalow. Beautiful pool. Excellent breakfast. Just a great place to relax. Just off Cocles beach and a nice half hour walk or 10min drive from Puerto Viejo. Supermarket nearby.

The accommodation is comfortable and the fans adequately cooled the rooms when required. The gardens are beautiful and there was a sloth resident for our entire stay. There is a small swimming pool and the restaurant served acceptable food at a reasonable price. Staff were friendly and we enjoyed our stay here.

Loved the cabin, gardens, pool. Just across the road from the beach. For me, the 'three course' breakfast was always too much but at least it provided some choice and we did take some of the fruit with us on our trips. Why not 5 star ? My opinion is that it's too small to run a restaurant as they...

Beautiful garden, private and spacious bungalow, swimming pool. Loved it. Parking lot available at hotel. Breakfast needed to be ordered the day before but was really good. Service was OK. I'm really critical normally, but really loved this place and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Peurto Viejo and looking for some peace and quiet in a tropical decor....

We stayed here for three nights and just loved it. This is a small boutique type hotel with individual little cabins set back in the forest, with gorgeous tropical gardens surrounding them. The cabins are quite rustic, with wooden lattice work, covered with screens, just like the houses in town. They have three beds in each: one queen size, one...

We loved it. My young adult daughters and I spent a fantastic week here in March. Azania Bungalows is beautiful: the garden is lovely and full of life (flowers, birds, an agouti enjoying coconuts, backdrop of jungle monkey sounds every morning); a sparkling and refreshing pool, bungalows and the restaurant landscaped into the garden with curving pathways and arty carved...

The room and the grounds of Azania are beautiful. The entrance to the beach is directly across the road, which is convenient. Guests can rent a bike for the day for only $5.00. What I did not like is that the room did not have a dresser so I felt that we were living out of our suitcase. Also, there...

Nice, quiet little hotel. Perfect for those wanting access to Puerto Viejo but who also want to be out of the bustle. Each bungalow has its own verandah and hammock. Inside, there is a mini fridge (in which they left us a bottle of bubbles, as it was our honeymoon), a large flatscreen TV, and enough beds for four people....
