Casa Marbella was our first real stop on a three week adventure and we LOVED it! We were in a downstairs room that was basic, dark and adjacent to the street but perfectly good enough and plenty big enough for the four of us. What you get here though is the view from the jetty whilst you eat a great...

We were pleased with the modest bed and breakfast. Our group ranged in age from 10 to 72 and our rooms were clean and simple We never got the hot water to work but the heat made a tepid shower ok I hope you get the French toast or pancakes for breakfast -really really yummy We really liked the location...

Casa Marbella is a small hotel in a picturesque located within the village of Tortuguero; the hotel can be accessed by river it having its own quay. The hotel is well located in that the amenities of the village such as shops, cafes, restaurants are within a short distance of the hotel. The rooms are basic but clean and of...

Go here if you have a second floor room -- ESPECIALLY one of the two rooms facing the river. We were fortunate to spend one night upstairs. However, on the second night we were in a small, cramped room with no door on the bathroom -- it was terrible. All rooms were very clean however including the bathrooms.

We stayed at Casa Marbella for three wonderful days in a superior room on the ground floor. Very clean, simple but perfectly adequate. The decking on the riverside is a wonderful place to sit in the shade and watch the boats going backwards and forwards, the occasional iguana in the trees and birds on the opposite bank. Daryl, the owner...

We stayed two nights in Casa Marbella and it was very good. Room was very clean and the owners were very nice. If you would like to book it in advance it is good to call till 18,00 and not later (they are in the office usually till that time). We took the boat tour organised by Case Marbella and...

We stayed for two nights at this B&B and found it, as other reviewers have, good value for the money. Clean surroundings, good bed, tropical fruits for the breakfast starter and it was well worth the visit. It is located in Tortugureo Village which allows for exploring much more than you might be able to at the surrounding all-inclusives. We...

We had 3 nights in Casa Marbella. Daryl the owner was very nice and helpful. The room were basic but clean. No aircon (not necessary in January), but a fan and hot water in the shower as well. Breakfast was simple but good and we enjoyed our time here. Paid 45 dollars pr. night including breakfast which we thought was...

Darryl's place is a great value. Clean with basic furnishings. It sits behind a dock on the Tortuguero Canal. We caught an incredible wildlife boat tour arranged by Casa Marbella into Tortuguero Nat'l Park that left off the Marbella's dock. A couple dozen white-faced spider monkeys entertained us quite awhile. A few, including a mother with a baby riding on...

Casa Marbella was a great place to start off our Costa Rica holiday. And very good value for money. A basic place, but that's it's charm as you really feel that you are experiencing the authentic Costa Rica, with no roads in Tortuguero so no cars for many miles. We had lovely breakfasts which were different each day. Daryl, the...
