I went to Golfito on a business and fishing trip and it was a spur of the moment type trip so we had not made reservations to stay anywhere in Golfito and most places were full. We found this noe little place and it did the trick. Rooms were nicely appointed and only about $80 a night for a room with 2 double beds. It has a restaurant onsite and the cooks even cooked our fish for us. Very nice friendly staff. I will stay there again

The hotel is nice. It is calm down and it has a very refreshing swimming pool. You can get a good swim in there. We loved that hotel has multiple ramps for elder/handicapped. My wife and my in-laws really used those ramps.
The restaurant has good food, flavorful, but menu is simple, you will not find too many options but all of them are good enough. The only issue we had was with the tenderloin because it was not what we expected from it.
Breakfast is included and it was good (typical breakfast is gallo pinto, eggs, coffee). They were very kind with me because I don't like "gallo pinto" so they changed it with more toasts and eggs, and cheese instead without any additional charge. The staff is very kind and open to give you recommendations. I did not use the WiFi but we did use the pool table. An advice: do not use the pool table unless you want to develop new skills. Playing pool could be frustrating!
For shopping, it is nearby the Free Deposit but on foot it is like 5/10 minutes from deposit entry.
We also loved a couple of small turtles they have in a small pound next to the restaurant.
About the rooms, my wife loved the A/C because it does not make any sound and works like a charm. But, they don't have coffee makers. And they dont provide swimming pool towels (you have to use the ones provided for your room in case you dont have any additional)
We would be glad to come back in our next visit to Golfito!

Es uno de los hoteles más grandes en Golfito me hospedé hace dos noches con mi esposo por un viaje de negocios, pero este hotel está por mucho abandonado, se nota una falta de atención al cliente y limpieza.

El Hotel Sierra esta muy bien ubicado, ya que detrás queda el depósito libre de Golfito y el Recinto Universitario queda a pocos minutos.
Es un Hotel tranquilo, con piscina y jardines que dan frescura al ambiente. El restaurante con el desayuno, bueno y a buen precio.
