The Marina Bahia Golfito, a relatively new hotel, is the first step in an ambitious plan to create a destination spot with condos, restaurants, etc. Currently the rooms are very nice and the single restaurant is open air with an enjoyable menu. The service is quite slow but we were on vacation. There is no beach or pool, just a hot tub on the top floor. Unfortunately there is nothing really walkable from this destination but Golfito does have a few taxis.
