Saladero is a special and wonderful place, located right between ocean and rain forest. All area is pristine and Susan and Harvey are trying to keep less impact from people, but keep also clean and good maintained. It is really warm atmosphere in Saladero, from the beginning to the end we felt as we been treating there as family member,...

Saladero was one of three lodges we visited as part of a three lodge tour. They were all great but Saladero was the best. We boarded their small boat at Puerto Jimenez and skimmed over the gulf. Wow. The jungle landscape on the coast was extremely beautiful, set against blue hills in the background. The owners of Saladero, Susan and...

We enjoyed our stay in Saladero very much. Harvey picked us up by boat and we got company of many Dolphins. We were welcomed very warmly by Harvey and Simone. We loved our stay at this lovely spot. The rooms were clean and cosy. They have a beautiful garden at their propety. And some nice trails in the jungle. Swimming...

I had always wanted to visit the Osa Peninsula, but a trusted friend suggested Saladero, located on the golfo dulce in Piedras Blancas National Park. He said it would be a better way to see what the area has to offer and seeès much less traffic. He was right. Saladero is nestled into some of the most fascinating primary rainforest...

Staying at Saladero is an unforgettable experience, one that puts you very close to the natural world and allows you to enjoy the animals and plants of a primary rainforest and the sea life in Golfo Dulce. The grounds at the lodge are beautifully kept, and a large variety of birds can be seen and heard there throughout the day....

Our 3rd visit to Saladero and we have booked for next year. This visit was the best yet - once again staying with our good friends, Susan and Harvey. Saladero is actually in the Piedras Blancas National Park. With the addition this year of Alli - a highly qualified, lovely biologist, we took more advantage of what Saladero has to...

I can't say enough good things. We spent 3 nights in the Mariposa Cabin in Feb 2016. The property at this Lodge is exquisite and impeccably maintained by the owners Susan and Harvey and their small staff who clearly love their work and environment. Our cabin was comfortable, unique and perfect for us. It backed onto the beautiful protected forest...

We are very happy to be repeat visitors to Saladero Ecolodge. We love the solitude and quiet of the lodge, far away from any roads or other resorts. They have a bountiful garden, palm trees filled with coconuts and pineapples plants lining the pathways. We appreciate the beauty and care of the grounds with a commitment to sustainability, function and...

This a wonderful experience. Susan and Harvey absolutely make this place. They are superb host and hostess who are passionate about the environment and wildlife. They make you feel relaxed and are always on hand for advice. They really looked after us. They also have the help of Alli who is an amazingly knowledgeable Biologist. We stayed 3 days in Saledero and it was one of the best experience we had in Costa Rica, and probably the lodge we visited during our 2 week honeymoon. What a great place you have Harvey and Susan! We wished we could have stayed longer! Saladero has it all: a lovely beach on the Golfo Dulce, kayaks to go...
