This is one of the best places on Jaco beach. It is located steps from beach on the south end of Jaco which is away from the noise and traffic of the town. The room was clean and the kitchenette was perfect for cooking our own meals. We would highly recommend staying here.

This lovely hotel on a beautiful strip of Jaco Beach, Costa Rica, is an absolute gem. It is quaint and clean and in the perfect setting. Naomi and Sandra are the nicest, most caring hostesses you could ever meet. We loved our stay and can't wait to go back!

We just loved our stay at Hotel Catalina and had to stay longer because we couldn't leave the place ! Very friendly and charming place, beautiful grounds, far enough from the middle of town to enjoy peaceful nights with the sound of the waves and close enough to walk in through the beach to go grab a drink ! rooms... We stayed at Hotel Catalina for two nights and loved it! The location is wonderful, with the beach almost literally right at your doorstep. Naomi and her mom were great, from getting us oriented on our first day to accommodating our request for a room on the beach side, to setting up our transportation back to the airport. The room... This nice, small, family-run hotel is right on the beach. The rooms are pretty basic but very clean. Our room on the second floor had a great deck that overlooked the tropical grounds and had beautiful, vaulted ceilings. There was a small kitchenette with fridge. The pool was great and right across from the ocean. We walked the entire length... More

Owners very nice people. Nice location on beach. Better prices than other spots. A/C not too effective. Bugs outside door numerous. Beds hard. Good kitchenette. What else to say? Surfing. Fishing. Good

Spectacular sunsets - the beach is just steps away from the beautiful scroll gates that welcome you to this little slice of Heaven! Sandra and Naomi were very welcoming and accommodating and made sure all the guests were comfortable and had what they needed. The tropical gardens are BEAUTIFUL and receive lots of love and attention. It's a peaceful, quiet,... More

We loved staying at the Catalina. It is our little price of Heaven on Earth! The Catalina is surrounded by natural beauty. The hotel is nestled between breath taking floral displays and the wonders of nature. The ocean is only short walk on the beach away from your room. The hotel itself is the perfect combination of relaxation and invigoration.... More

my husband and I stayed at this little beach front hotel. The location was perfect and the grounds were well manicured with lots of large tropical plants. The rooms need updating, the sheets and towels were worn and I needed to wear my flip flops in the shower. The rooms were clean just outdated. The a/c and ceiling fans kept... More
