Stayed at Casa Chaman 2 weeks ago. It is a basic place, nothing fancy - good location, reasonably clean in a nice neighborhood. The only disappointing thing was that the pool filter did not work, making for a scummy swimming experience. Pools are very important in the hot Costa Rica dry season. It took a long time for the pool...

Worst time I ever had in C.R., refrigerator wasn't working propertly Hazel the manager said to me you have to kick it to close it. There was water in the kitchen floor everyday. There were broken fans, mold in the bathroom, TV broke, food got spoiled and could not cook, I felt down in the kitchen.and got a swallen ankle,...

Very comfortable and clean apartment in an attractive and secure complex. I liked the apartment as it had a well-stocked kitchen, washing machine and dryer, phone with complimentary local calls and tv. The manager Donna lives locally and is friendly, organized and responsive. The apartment is located between the town of Quepos and Manuel Antonio. It is about 3 miles...

The pool was a refreshing place to cool down after a long hot day in town. It is conveniently located by a bus stop that takes you...

Shower at the pool are great for when you get back from the beach to shower off the sand. Each villa is privately owned so it is not a hotel. You...

There is nothing negative to say about this place. The house is great. The neighbors are very nice. The location is exactly what one should want in a relaxing get-away. Donna was an excellent host and bent over backwards to ensure that our stay was perfect. We highly recommend this as a relaxing escape from the every-day rat race.

We rented the entire house of Casa del Chaman in Feb 09. The upstairs apartment is great. Theres a full kitchen and a washer/dryer which we made good use of. We loved going to the local market and stocking up on fruit and eating it every day, as well as being able to store lots of cold drinks in the...

My husband and I decided to come to Manuel Antonio for our honeymoon last May. We had a very hard time finding an affordable yet nice vacation rental and after a weeks worth of small pricey hotels we found Chaman villas. We were able to stay for the full 3 weeks and this place was amazing. The villa we stayed...
