Let this be said immediately: you can't beat this location. This hotel more or less shares entrance with that of Manuel Antonio National Park. The hotel looks a little bit misplaced since it's rather big (6 floors) and has a sharp orange color. Overall I will recommend this hotel because of it's location, and especially if you prefer the bigger... More

Dear B H, Thank you for your review. Our location is very special and we are glad that you got to enjoy it. Despite the size, this hotel actually is family-owned and operated. The 5th floor does have some upgrades but all of rooms are similar. The balconies regardless of the floor are great for seeing wildlife, the higher floors... More

An excellent hotel tucked away in the hills just at the edge of Manuel Antonio National Park. Excellent views of the ocean and glorious sunsets (at right time of year) can be had from the open seating area on the 6th floor. Monkeys and birdlife visit frequently. The pool has a cascading waterfall and is delightfully designed to fit into... More

Stayed here two nights. Arrived in Manuel Antonio without reservations. Had a few places in mind, but those were full. Saw this place - hard to miss a mustard yellow 6 story building at the park's entrance. It looked pricey, but the location drew me forward. Price was more reasonable than i expected - about $140/night for 2 Qn Bedroom... More

San Bada is located right next door to Manuel Antonio Park and has close access to the beach. You are close walking distance to a super, public beach, and other stores and restaurants. Our room was clean, comfy, and we had good wifi access. There were a lot of small crabs at door or back patio area but being so... More

Our Caravan Tour selected this hotel as it sits right next to the Manuel National Park. We were perfectly situated to have a fine breakfast and walk casually next door to the park as it opened at 7am. The hotel has a above average pool with a slide that our grandchildren enjoyed very much. The service at the hotel was... More

Although this hotel has a great location it needs attention badly. The stench of our room was unbearable. Although they sprayed when we complained the smell came back an hour later. The room also needed a good cleaning. Our feet was filthy from walking on the floor. We were on a Cravan tour and everyone complained about the same thing... More

Dear Daddod, We are very sorry that your stay with us was not as amazing as it should be. We have Caravan tours almost daily and the feedback is usually very good. We have a well-trained cleaning staff so there should not have been dirty floors. The mildew smell was most likely due to humidity, not any lack of cleaning.... More

We spent a weekend at San bada with 3 friends at it was just perfect. They even got a pizza for us in a local restaurant late at night!!! The breakfast is buffet and delicious. They have a rooftop pool and lounge really romantic or good for partying. I am definitely going back there as soon as I can!!
