As many other reviewers have mentioned, the location just outside Manuel Antonio national park makes it super convenient if you want to go to the park multiple days during your stay - the beaches inside the national park are superb. There is an access path from the hotel to the public beach nearby, which is also good. The hotel itself...

Our stay at SAN BADA was a great with their staff being very friendly and helpful. The hotel is just a short walk to MA National Park. Our room was not ready yet since we arrived a bit early. This was not a big deal for us and so we decided to eat at the rooftop restaurant. The view from...

Right next to the Manuel Antonio entrance. They let us leave the rental car in their gated parking lot even after we checked out. The swimming pool was great for the kids, although the water slide was concrete and a little fast (all of us bruised our elbows) They let us borrow the pool towels for the Manuel Antonio park,...

Lovely hotel, big pool near reception and right next to the national park, as well as a tunnel down to the beach. Wifi free but not guaranteed due to room style - rather aggravating at times regardless. Do agree there was a musty smell that was not apparent in other more humid areas of Costa Rica. Fabulous AC though. Shower...

A short walk from the beach and the entrance to Manuel Antonio National Park, our experience with Hotel San Bada was the definition of "pura vida." We were there in the off-season (late August), so things were quieter and calmer than we imagine them to be at peak tourist time. The staff is young and eager to be of service....

The hotel is right next to the entrance to Manual Antonio Park and a short walk to the public beach, and restaurants and shops on the beach strip.
