Just left and spent 3 nights here. So fun! The staff were wonderful and the pool small, but perfect temp considering the warm ocean and hot days. So refreshing to take a dip! We had the family suite above the reception area which was awesome. This is not a 5star resort so don't get me wrong... it's quirky, charming, and...

We spent 6 nights at the Jungle Beach Hotel. This is not a chocolate on your pillow kind of place, but they make every effort to make you happy. I think the people complaining about damp linens are forgetting that nothing ever really dries when the humidity is 150%! There were many stairs to our room, but even though we...

We stayed here for 3 nights. The price was one of the more affordable hotels in the area for us and the description and pictures seemed like it was very nice and well kept. When we arrived we checked in and were taken to our room which was a room facing the road at the ground level. It wasn't quite...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The only room that was still available was the nearest to the street so our lookout & balcony directly faced the main road. The room was okay & the surrounding was nice but not worth the price we paid. Also the breakfast wasn't very good. Not a big choice at all. Another...

Clean and well located within walking distance to Manuel Antonio. The name is a little missleading as it is not on the beach but the beach is only a 3 minute walk away and you CAN hear the waves breaking as you lie in bed at night. Front desk 24 hours and very helpful staff on duty. Breakfast was great...

The motel was very clean and comfortable, complete with an outdoor balcony. It was so enjoyable to be up in the trees with the monkeys, whose early morning wake-up calls made for an unforgettable trip. Very relaxing breakfast by the pool.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! Victor was so helpful, Gabby, Annabelle, and Doris cooked a great breakfast by the pools with friendly and fast service. Delicious!!! And thanks to the included breakfast, we all skipped our lunches! Wilmer and Emilio were very helpful, as were every staff we encountered. A room with a view is...

We were disappointed with this lodging. The photos looked so much better than the actual place. The town is run-down and has poor restaurants. There were some scary looking characters loafing around the beach at night. The best thing is its proximity to Manual Antonio National Park.

We did enjoy this place but we had to the cross the road to actually get down to the beach - as we had 3 small children this was quite dangerous. You pretty much have to cross on the corner - there is hardly any side road so was dodgy. We were always nervous making the crossing - especially as...

Very small hotel, walking distance to the beach. We had the Presidential apartment, which was huge (2 bathrooms, kitchen), but not very well maintained. The roof was very thin and made out of metal and you could hear monkeys running on it at night..
