The hotel has a great location and quality staff. Every time we left and came back to the premises the security guard would take our room number and write it down. This made me feel like someone would know if something happened to me. The restaurant food was very good, and our 19-year-old son looked forward to eating there at...

I will start by saying that our family traveled around most of western Costa Rica on vacation- and I would advise others NOT to do that. We had very uneven hotel experiences before arriving at Hotel Parador so were very weary of what to expect when we arrived. The staff heard that we had not really been enjoying our vacation...

I really searched to find the perfect place to stay; I wanted beach, I wanted mountains and I wanted rain forest. The Hotel Parador is literally at the end of a long winding mountain ride, overlooking the pacific ocean with gorgeous views. A SUPER short walk away is a private little beach that is very nice, used by locals and...

After staying in more rustic resorts in the north central part of Costa Rica we really enjoyed the Eco-luxury that the Parador resort provided for the last 4 days of our vacation. A room upgrade set the stage for a delightful stay. Howler monkeys climbed in the trees right outside our room and white faced capuchin monkeys played on the...

The scenery was great and the service remarkable. I went with my two kids, and we all had a wonderful time. There are activities for the whole family. The food was great also. This is the hotel you want to go if you want luxury and comfort in the middle of a beautiful natural park.

Stayed for 4 nights and wished that I would have stayed longer. The hotel arranged transportation from the airport. We were greeted with refreshing towels and bottled water. When we arrived to the hotel they also greeted my family with drinks and icecream for the kids. Staff was polite and helpful. The property has sloths, monkeys, iguanas and a trail...

We stayed here for three days. The hotel has monkeys, hummingbirds, and iguanas. The grounds are immaculately kept and the staff is on the ball for any requests. Hotel Parador has good professional service, and is in a lovely location. However, it is a long walk to the beach (for those interested), and a longer walk to town.
