Just got back from Costa Rica, Costa Verde was the fourth leg of our holiday after leaving Monte Verde.
We stayed in a lovely private bungalow A14 which had a large garden with parking, a BBQ area all set amongst the trees, with great views...More
We stayed 4 nights in E5 bungalow. We were a group of three and couldn't have asked for better accommodations. We liked the 2 separate rooms for sleeping and the 2 very nice bathrooms. We especially enjoyed the beautiful big porch.
We enjoyed waking up...More
This was our final destination for the last 5 nights of our 3 week trip through Costa Rica. The hotel is spread through a large area of forest, on both sides of the main road and on an elevated sloping site with numerous rooms ranged...More
My father and I stayed a night at Hotel Costa Verde during his exploratory retirement trip to Costa Rica. We wanted to see monkeys while on our trip so we headed to Manuel Antonio and stayed at Costa Verde due to their “still more monkeys...More
We stayed at area B with a room of the beaches at Manual Antonio. It was so beautiful! The hotel itself spans across a long stretch of the main road, so it's not super convenient to walk to restaurants or pools. They do offer free...More

We stayed in c-15 - it was in the 'adults only' building which is called CV 2. I would recommend any room in that building for quiet and not too close to the road. If you can swing the top floor - the views are epic, but as well any of the ocean-facing rooms in that building had spectacular views! Not sure where the A bungalows are, but there might be a map of the property online?
Enjoy your stay - we loved it there! SO many monkeys!!

It looks like this answer is very late but may help others: My wife religiously drank bottled water and I always drank water served in a glass in restaurants during our two week trip around Costa Rica. We both washed our teeth with tap water. Neither of us had any issues. The places we ate and drank were mostly resorts and your experience may vary depending on your level of immersion in non-resort experiences. It would be interesting to know what the situation was where the RPN at Passport Health developed their advice. I suggest that you will do fine if you evaluate each food and drink situation and act accordingly, just like you do in the USA. Enjoy!
