Located on the hill between Quepos and Manuel Antonio, Hotel Mimos was one of the best hotels we stayed at in Costa Rica. The local bus stops right outside so getting around is simple. We stayed in one of the apartments, which was massive for 2 people but very nice and rustic. The hotel has some lovely grounds, along with...

At our last stop on our Costa Rica tour, my husband and I were upgraded to the honeymoon suite. It was absolutely amazing! The room is spacious with a beautiful view from the balcony. The hotel staff were very friendly. It is a great location on the bus route as well. The only downfall was the restaurant. The waitress was...

The room key did not work from inside, they locked us in the room all night until the morning hours! Thank God we had no health issues! (no phone in the room to call). Hair in the shower.Breakfast was ridiculous. Good location.

Hotel Mimos fit us in last minute during the high season and made every effort to accommodate our needs. Rooms were large and clean, although slightly dated. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Located right on the main road, it was still quiet and had easy access to buses. Lots of parking if you're driving. Internet didn't...

Great pool layout and very cool water! If your in buildings off the road their quiet. But as mentioned by others rooms one to four are loud. Restaurant was okay, adequate but you will want to check other places. Staff are very friendly. Was very impressed with the air conditioning in the room, really reduced the humidity.

We stayed in room 22. Do not stay in this room if you want a good nights sleep. There was a very strange noise in the plumbing system. We brought it to the managements attention. They did try to change all the parts in the toilet over a number of days, but the issue seems to be a water pressure...

The hotel Mimos is surprising because it is not much to look at from the road. But, once inside on the second level, it opens up to a nice courtyard, a restaurant right by the pool and is surrounded by beautiful trees. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had a really good air conditioning unit and...

Second time that I visit the hotel and my review just cannot be as good as first time. Our room neighbors had a "private party" until 3-4am so we couldnt sleep well. In addition there are limited parking spots so if you go out there is a chance of cannot park your car in the hotel facilities but across the...

The price was on the lower end for the area. The room was clean. The pool was nice. The breakfast was good. I will stay here again. It was close to Manuel Antonio National Park. The staff was friendly

Why the Hotel Mimos doesn't invest in the limited maintenance required to make its excellent facilities exceptional escapes me, but its redeeming feature is the Mimos Restaurant. Michael and his talented wife are providing memorable service and tasty Caribbean inspired dishes which are consistently way above average on anyones' scale. Plus you sit up high overlooking one of the beautiful...
