Went for a spring break type of vacation. Laposada was our second hotel and its in a great location. THis is hotel served as our touristy area hotel which it is in the prime location for. Manuel ANtonio national park is literally right next and the beach is a 3 minute walk away. there were tons of little souvenir shops...

My partner and I stayed at the villa for three nights. Pros: lots of sunlight, very bright and airy Nice TVs, can grab DVDs to watch from the hotel spacious, very clean great help at reception, honest and trustworthy super location literally a stone's throw away from the park entrance, and only a few minutes walk from the public beach...

My wife and I have been to numerous countries. We tend to stay at botique hotels, and La Posada was a great little hotel. It is very authentic, feels like home, but also has the conveniences we like. The breakfasts in the morning were very good. The service at the hotel was always very friendly and warm. The hotel has...

Overall, we had an excellent experience at this hotel! The location is great - about 10 feet from the Park entrance, and a short walk to the beach. There are a few restaurants by the beach, but not many. We found the beach in the park much nicer that the public beach in town, but it's not all that far...

We just returned from a ten day trip to Costa Rica which included four nights at La Posada. We chose La Posada because it is operated by an American and it is located right on the Manuel Antonio National Park boundary. We wanted an English speaking hotel within easy walking distance to the park, beaches, and restaurants. Mike Auvil and...

This hotel borders the Manuel Antonio National Park and is a 5 min walk from the beach. The night life in the area is not great but you can take a city bus for 50 cents (USD) and it's only about a ten min ride to the area where the bars and fancier restaurants are located up on the bluffs...

We've just come back from a week at La Posada with our son, daughter-in-law and 3 year old grandson. It was a pleasant, friendly, and convenient place to stay. It's very cozy and the staff is excellent. We were visited by monkeys, iguanas of all sizes and types, a tame deer and lots of birds. The other guests were friendly...

We loved our stay at La Posada. It was very clean, wonderful staff and homey. You couldn't ask for a better location. An easy walk to the beach and downtown and right next to the entrance of the park. We had animals greeting us daily (monkeys, deer and their darling puppy and birds). I love the privacy of our own...

I loved this place, I stayed here with my 10 year old son. Super clean, cozy, small but lovely pool, 5 minute walk to the beach, good breakfast, friendly staff. Doesn't feel like a sterile hotel at all, but feels like a private jungle bungalow. So the name is perfect. They have food, but are close to other restaurants (including...

We stayed for two nights with another family in February. We wished we had stayed much longer. If you need an expensive, high end, luxury resort, then this is probably not the place for you, but we had an absolutely great time. Mike, Jonathan, Esteban and the rest of the staff made our stay so comfortable, fun and memorable. There's...
