The place is great. You feel just like home and we didn’t even stay here. We actually were late in booking hotels for our trip and the place was sold out. However, the manager in charge (Estefan) was a great help and recommended a few nearby hotels. He helped us book a Jet Ski tour, got us the best tour...

Staying at La Posada was by far one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment you arrive, you are treated like a friend or a guest staying at someone's house. They are all so friendly and helpful. The rooms are great. They feel like you are in a home, not a hotel at all. Very clean and good...

Our family spent five nights at La Posada in November. It was such a delightful experience. The hotel (it feels more like an inn) is very clean and very unpretentious. The staff, as well as the other travelers, are incredibly friendly. Mike, Jonathan and Estaban (the staff that we interacted with the most) are all bilingual and incredibly helpful. They...

We arrived at night and were warmly welcomed and shown to our place. We rented La Casa, the casa was very clean and everything worked as it should, the beds were comfy and the bathrooms very nice. Price was awesome perfect for two couples to split. After we got settled we went to town with the gentlemen that work there...

I've thought a lot about what to write in this review, because we came away from La Posada with very mixed feelings. On the positive side, the location of La Posada is excellent - it is literally right next to the entrance to Manuel Antonio Park, and a few minutes walk from the beach. Probably because of its proximity to...

This is Mike Auvil, the owner and I am so sorry that this couple had to go through this situation. We pride ourselves on how clean and bug free our rooms are and this was a one time thing that is now completely resolved! We put new palms on the bungalow roofs every 2 years and for the first time...

We booked our trip to Costa Rica at the very last minute and I was so happy that Mike was able to get us a room without any issues. The hotel is right next to the nature reserve, so deer wander through the hotel garden and you can find sloths 100m up the road. There is also a group of...

We were caught in the middle of the tropical storm and it rained for 5 days and nights straight. Staff was friendly. Had to stay an extra day because the roads and airports were closed. Thankfully there are numerous movies to watch. Food was good. Will definitely be back next year to do the things we were unable to do...

I traveled to Costa Rica with my aunt and my teenage daughter. It can be hard to find things to do that everyone likes, but the staff at La Posada went out of their way to recommend and book activities. We stayed in the Villa, which included a downstairs living room, kitchen, and bathroom along with two beds and a...

What an amazing place. The owner of the hotel and all of the staff are just the best. The rooms were spotlessly clean. Breakfast is great.. so down to earth and relaxing. The monkeys and the deer would visit every day! Between the animals and adorable little bungalows, it's like a fairy tale. Certain nights of the week the owner...

We rented the La Casa, 2 bed 2 bath on the second floor with large screen television....nice accommodations with a full kitchen, stereo , CD's, DVD's, plenty of seating space and an in-room safe for your valuables. Laundry facilities available outside your door, included in your room rate. Nice location within walking distance to the beach (a short walk down...
