Stayed 2 nights at Cabinas Espadilla as part of an Explore tour with breakfast 50 metres up the road at Playa Espadilla, which was one of best 2 breakfasts in 2 weeks in Cost Rica. Rooms have a kitchen, but it wasn’t really of use to us. Rooms appear to be in rows of 4 with the 2 end ones...

This hotel is divided into the Hotel Playa Espadilla and Cabinas Espadilla. "Cabin" is not exactly how I would describe the rooms, but they did have kitchenettes. Our room was on the far end, away from the road which was nice, but when you open the door you walk right into 1 of the 2 double beds. Very tight! Decent...

We were in Costa Rica for the Envision Festival, so after 5 days in a tent in the jungle we were ready for a little luxury. Manuel Antonio fit the bill perfectly. The beaches looked like they were straight out of a postcard. Crystal blue waters, sandy white beaches, and a great vibe. Cabinas Espadilla was AMAZING. The rooms were...

Nicely landscaped, pool area was very nice, but the rooms were cramped with two doubles and very dated. For $140 a night, updating would make me feel better. Privileges were extended to their sister property about 100 meters up and across the road, including getting ice from the bar. Breakfast was included but you had to walk to the neighboring...

The cabins are very close to the beach, accessed through the grounds and across the road. However the accommodation is basic motel-style. Space is limited - there were 2 double beds in our room and a kitchenette, but little floor space. The air conditioning was very effective, which was handy considering the heat and humidity. You have to walk to...

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was large enough but a little outdated. The location was ideal - only a 3 minute walk to the nearest beach and restaurants, as well as a 5 minute walk (at most) to the national park. Breakfast, served across the street at the hotel, was very good.

We have been having an amazing time for 2 weeks meeting wonderful people, until we arrived to the front desk there Theres no hot water in the rooms, it is basically a hostel with ridiculous price. Location is perfect though Across the street there is a hostel $12/ night. you will...

The cabinas are the cheaper sister to the Hotel of same name but we liked the cabinas better - they were laid out in gardens, very relaxed and nice pool. You can walk to the hotel for happy hour and brekkie (included in price as in most hotels in country.) A short walk to the National Park which was wonderful...
