We enjoyed this place for 2 nights. It was clean and centrally located so what more can you ask for. The price was better than the hostels in town plus there is a common kitchen. We would recommend staying here if you are looking for a simple but clean hotel.

This place is perfectly located in Montezuma but the rooms are neglected. We only stayed two nights and had to change rooms for the second night because the toilet did not work in the first room! The A/C in the rooms were very old and noisy.

We had to change room twice: first time because of the noise (the hotel is right on the main road) and second time because of the flood in the bathroom. We had horrible large roaches in the bathroom. The room smelled. Towels smelled. Water in the shower smelled. The AC was so old that it was too loud when working....

We just came back from our vacation in Montezuma, where we stayed at "Hotel" Aurora. This place looks cute from outside, but it is misleading. The rooms are tiny with only bed in it and thats it! no shelves, no nothing to where you could take your cloths out of suitcase. Which makes it very very uncomfortable. There are huge...

We arrived in the hotel for 3 nights. Hotel Aurora is in a great location. The couple we were traveling with got a nice room upstairs #11. We got the last room available, room #4. STAY AWAY from this room!!!! No windows, and next to the loud kitchen. The price was ok,but they charge 10$ per night for AC(you need it) 5$per day...

I ve got room nr 4 which is straight next to the kitchen. The room was not really inviting...because the were two beds, a really small WC and a separat shower....

We stayed here for 1 night when our plans changed and we were looking for a cheap place to stay. The location is great and the lady at the front desk was very nice and willing to negotiate my poor Spanish. We paid a few dollars more for a room on the back of the hotel, not facing the road,...

We arrived in the hotel and reservated a suit for 3 nights. We arranged everything and did all the organisational things. In the end the receptionist told us that we have to pay everything right now, wich is unusual, but it was alright for us. We did not have so much money with us so we went to the atm...

not good value for money. too noisy - right on the road. Horrible pillows and mattresses - been in CR 4 weeks now, worst mattress yet. Place is not clean - mould in bathroom, I bought my own cleaning products and cleaned it myself. Give you fresh towels every day which is lovely but their towels are pretty shabby. Our...

truth be told- we were forced to spend the night in montezuma on our way back to the mainland, heading to manuel antonio, and booked our room at the Aurora because it was one of the cheapest available. Nevertheless, when arriving we realized we got a tiny room- about 8 sq meters, with a claustrophobic bathroom, a small window- which...
