This is the first time we stayed here. The casitas were very well maintained and had a full kitchen. The casitas come equipped with A/C, but we didn't need it since the weather was cool at night. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is fantastic. They have security at night and a safe to store your important papers. The...

A fantastic place hosted by some great people. Beutiful individual colored houses with cosy veranda and full kitchen make this really good value for money. The company of monkees at breakfast came at no extra cost. We had the car parked just outside the house. Very convenient. The close distance to the Montezuma village and great beach made the stay...

I booked 2 nights back in January at Casacolores last minute. We were taking our motorcycle on the ferry from Puntarenas and decided we would like to explore Montezuma. It was a bit over our budget as we mainly stay in hostels, but since you are paying for an entire cabin it really is a good price. The hosts: Extremely...

We stayed here for 4 nights in September. The cabins and the property were beautifully maintained .Loved spending time on our cabin deck and at the pool at the end of the day Reuban and Catrine were awesome people and always available. Short walk down the hill to town and the beach. Highly recommend! Thanks! Shannon and Steve

Nice airy cabins, there was no a/c but with the windows open and the ceiling fan on if wasn't an issue. The rooms have a kitchen with dishes and a fridge so if you are staying for more than a couple days that is a plus. Pretty laid back, the owners where present and quite amicable. Would stay again.

I searched for a very special place to celebrate my birthday and had always wanted to see Costa Rica. I searched different areas and decided on Montezuma...then I came across Hotel CasaColores, Montezuma and I KNEW I had to stay here! Rueben and Katrine have created darling individual bungalows that were clean and bright and comfortable....when I opened the windows....with...

We stayed here for 4 night with our kids (6&8). Really enjoyed our time here. The bungalows are nice and spacious, with a terrific deck. The pool was wonderfull, and visited by a dozen of iguanas. The beaches in Montezuma and Mal Pais (by car) are amazing. So great place to stay for a couple night to relax!

Karina and Ruben were very warm and welcoming. The cabin has a bedroom, kitchen bath and large front porch. The kitchen is sufficient but is lacking pots and pans. There was only one pot and there was no lid for the old frying pan. I don't think this would be an issue for most people but my partner is a...

Hello ! First of all thanks for staying with us , whät a pity you didn't tell us. as we said on your arrival " anything you need you let us you know " . Sometimes when people rent more then one cottage they mix plates and pots and etc between the houses, we try to keep everything in every...

This was the best place we stayed at in Costa Rica by far. Great family run cabins in a beautiful garden with an equally beautiful pool. The description is exactly what it says on their website, with Ruben and his wife ever helpful. Yes its a walk into town, but you have the peace and quiet of not being in...

My daughter and I stayed in one of the smaller cabins but it was ample, charming and very comfortable--kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with two beds, private porch with hammock and table. The pool area is lush and inviting. But the best part of Casacolores is the friendly atmosphere--the owners and staff are all friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back...
